Clay masks are great (particularly the blue ones). I like the one from Oil of Olay and the one from St. Ives.
I knew I could count on you. Several threads have needed your attention in the past couple of days, haha.
^^I know, I stripperweb way less in the summer.

Asprin mask. Witch Hazel is a good toner, makes them look small.
Yep, I treid the aspirin mask a couple of times, good results, and my pores are like little caves on some parts of my face.
What do you to to make an aspiriin mask? I've seen different "recipes" all over the web.....what do you guys do for it?

I like Aztec Clay (the old-skool, low-fi, hippie version of the clay mask) better than the drugstore brands of clay masks (because I'm crunchy like that). Mix it with unfiltered apple cider vinegar and slather it on your face and let it work its magic. The results are best within the first few hours... my pores become nearly invisible and my skin is unbelivably smooth. I like to use a clay mask before going to work so I have the smoothest possible surface to apply makeup to. I also like to think that shrinking my pores up will allow fewer pollutants to get into my skin and mess it up... but that's probably pseudoscience.

I like Origins herbal toner. For the day after a late night of drink and slap and tickle--Princess Marcella Borgese clay mask.

a toner with alcohol will make pores appear smaller but nothing really closes them or makes them tighter....bigger pores aren't always a bad thing, they let more oil on the face and lube it up and help the face age slower
I recommend this along with aspirin masks, but it might be too harsh for some.
There's an gentler alternative called Montmorillonite European Clay, and Freeman or Saint Ives brand scrubs.
For those of us with huge pores and oily skin, weekly facials are the best way to keep the pores consistently smaller. And use a non-soap containing facial cleanser...soap causes scaling on the skin.
A little out there, but I've had great luck using Mederma on my nose. My pores are shrinking and my normally dry skin is soft and healthy.

an ice cube. run it over your face in the morning.
thats what i do.
...until it wears off? I'll often put it on before bed. I don't wash it off.
