    Default Eyelashes

Once I get them on they stay nicely but I am new to wearing them and have soooo much trouble placing them correctly. Any ladies have some tips on how to make them look the most natural and as far as placing them is it just a steady hand and a lot of practice?

Here is how I put on my fakies. -

First I make sure my natural eyelashes have a coat of mascara and eyeliner. That way if there is a gap in the lashes, it is hidden by the eyeliner.

I take the fakies by the edge with tweezers and apply a thin bead of glue and lightly hair dry it until it turns color (the white glue, gets a little yellow. That is how you know when it is sticky)

Then I place one corner (outside corner) on and use the beveled edge of the tweezers to press the glue line as close to my natural lashes as I can. Then I dry again with a hair dryer to keep it from shifting when I blink.

Then I apply another line of eyeliner and whatever shadows I am wearing.

    Hope that helps.

Oh, and there is nothing wrong with cutting them down if your lashline isn't long enough to wear the whole thing. I always have to use nail clippers and take off about an eighth of an inch of the inside corner so it doesn't poke my tear ducts when I blink! Owie!
If everything you try is a sure thing, you aren't taking enough risks. If you never fail, you put a limit on the degree to which you can succeed. In short, the only way to win big is to risk losing

Cutting them down will help even if you don't really need to cut them. We've discussed applying half lashes just to the outer half and general consensus is that it's easier and still makes an impact. I don't use tweezers or anything, I just plunk them down with my fingers. I use tweezers if I need to adjust them, but I usually don't need em. Just takes practice I guess. Resting my elbows on a table or against the mirror really helps steady my hands.
