Just felt like whining. I had laser eye surgery a few days ago and it went great, 20/20 vision and all. I expected to take about two days off of work. I feel fine, and everyone I spoke to said it should be alright to go into work after two days (I said there were lots of flashing lights and a strobe).
I went in last night and, before getting dressed, another girl suggested I should try sitting in tip row without my ugly sunglasses and see how that felt before getting on the floor. I didn't even make it that far. It was like I was on drugs. All the lights starred out, had horrible halos, and left some trails when I turned. A regular came up gave me hug, asked how I was, and asked why my eyes were glowing green.
Yep, I was a genuine green eyed monster (I think it was the anti-inflammatory drops I need to use and I can't rinse out). I darted back to the dressing room, told my manager I needed to go and headed out.
I need to use those drops for another 3 days and I was told the majority of the halo effect would take a week to two to go away. Now, I have no idea how long I need to take off.
So I feel perfectly fine, can see 20/20, but I can't stand bright flashing lights, and my eyes glow green under black light... and it sucks.
