Default "You Seem To Really Love What You're Doing"

I heard this last night... I was on my 2nd set of course and it was Timbaland's "Give It To Me" I LOVE THIS SONG. I obviously pick music that I know I'm going to enjoy working it to... But this man, he was middle aged, and I was hanging upside down on the pole by my calves(I forget the name of the move) and I came down and was doing some floor work and say hello to the custies that were there along where you can sitting i guess at the "tip rail". Sometimes custies talk to ya, sometimes they don't. I smiled and asked if he was enjoying himself tonight. He said yes and said "you seem to really love what you're doing" and then went on to say "Most girls I see look mad at the world and don't seem to enjoy it, or you can tell they're faking it." My reply was:I just said what was honestly in my mind "Hey I get to flounce around butt naked in cute shoes, with loud music for me to work it to Whats a better job than that?" He looked surprised, but made it rain(and I don't mean $1bills either!) for the last of that set. Honesty is key sometimes in this business... I'm still relatively new(2 1/2 months) so this was definitely a highlight for the shitty month I've had.

I hate when customers say that. I kinda feel like it's an undercover way to make me feel put down at the profession I have chosen. You picked the right answer though, I say something similar.

Ah, I actually like it when a customer says that to me. I'm about 50-50 love - hate with this job. But if a customer can't tell, then that makes me happier.

There are parts about it a really do enjoy, obviously, or I would have quit by now...but I put on a good "I'm so happy to be here!" show, so if I get complimented on it, then cool!

Also, that guy was right, I see so many girls in my club sitting around looking sullen and ticked off...

    Girls! Stripping is not detention!

Me too, because half the time when they say it they look at me with pity. I had a guy do that on Saturday night when I was doing promo, and he even tried to pat my head after he said it.

Hey asshat, don't pet me because you think I have a pimp somewhere that's gonna beat me if I don't come home with a grand tonight. I'm here because I want to be here.

I DO love my job, but I don't love guys talking to me like that.

^^^Someday, Ginger, when you're bigger than Jenna Jameson, can you release a "bloopers" tape in which you're mouthing off behind customers' backs? Can it involve the word "asshat" and also "twatwaffle"?

I will not make a joke about Jenna being grossly underweight/meth abuse/plastic surgery here.

On topic- I love when customers tell me this, actually. I don't care if it's an insult or stereotype, etc...it means I am entertaining them and therefore the money is imminent!

I let this one slide whatever way it's meant since I'd rather hear THAT than some of the meaner comments they can pull out to mess with our heads.

It's actually a gateway conversation starter- "Oh, I love this because I used to be a gymnast/ I love the work-out I get from dancing, I'm too busy otherwise to hit the gym/ etc, etc......." Instead of getting upset, think of a way to steer the convo into a pile of cash for you...

I'm actually currently writing everything from my travels so one day I can look back on it. Obviously I can't post most things at the moment, or I'll never work again.

I DO use asshat on a regular basis, and I was slightly upset Saturday night when I realized I hadn't used twatwaffle my whole booking. My security looked at me like I was crazy.
