Default this is driving me nuttttssssss

The "o" key has broken off my keyboard, the clip is broke so cant attach it,

Its taking me ages to type, never knew how many words contain "o".

Soo im a typing using the spot where the key was, its really hard with acrylic nails too.

    Do places sell replacement keys?

I dont know if it will work coz the clips that were in the key are stuck in the hole that they fit into

Laptop keyboards pop out so you can get into their insides, so they can be replaced as well. Look around the edges of it and you'll see the breaks.

Thanks Lilith- I am so glad I read this thread!!! I spilled clear nail polish on the 8 key once. Its still works but I was just waiting for the keyboard to die and I'd have to find a new computer... Thanks again!!!

You can also find kits with just the keys. Make sure you know what your doing when you take it apart, you don't want to accidentally break the quick key fascia like I did the first time.

Most laptops have a maintenance and repair guide that can take you through the procedure.

^^Do you mean the plastic clips, or the metal clips on the keyboard? I've seen the plastic clips that make the folding action, as well as the cups and the keys themselves. A lot of people lose the plastic clips.

A KB could be installed quicker than a key depending on the model.

You can do it. Google your model number and look at the manual. Don't lose the screws (if you take screws out, I think for most laptops you don't for just the keyboard).

This also happened to me! I didn't buy a new keyboard or replacement keys. If you know how to put the spring back together you can do this. I took the spring from under the windows button on my laptop, since it's never used anyways. I just stuck the windows key back down and put the spring under the letter I needed it. It works just fine now.
