Default Back in the Swing...A Revival

I recently went back to dancing after a two month hiatus, I had restored what little faith I had left for the business and my ability...and I'm glad I did so. I've had a lot of time to put things into perspective and I realized that was key. The business is faltering, we're riding the last incredible wave of easy cash and it will soon break into the rocks. I'm doing what I had failed to do before: save and invest...Pay off the bills ASAP and secure my future. It's hard when you're so far in it, this business, bc it lies to you and traps you...but it will provide for you if you allow it to.

Work has been okay, I've been able to make my goal more often than not and I only need to work three days a week instead of 6! I think what has helped me the most is accepting stripping for what it is and losing parts of my "pride ego"...Being tougher and not making the same mistakes twice with spending. I also don't listen to negative talk, I reinforce with what positive I can muster...it works. I've also stopped talking to a lot of girls at work, not on a mean note, but it helps me focus on work.

Good to hear, Seishi. Shoot me a PM with your work nights? I'll drop in. I suppose the Admiral deserves another look. It's been a year since I've been there.

That's the spot I am in as well, not having anything to show for it...But since I recognized the problem, I'm working hard to fix it. I'm in the same money spot as you owing Illinois about a grand from unemployment and I have probably about 10,000 credit card debt...LOL. But, I know even though my "bad" days come and go, I couldn't make that cash anywhere else at a real job.

We have to stay on our toes!
