I worked there a really long time ago. High fees, high contact, bigger club. That being said, I would try SR, Santa Barbara, same fee structure, same contact, smaller club, but attracts better spenders.
From what I remember the fee structure was something like this:
Topless dance $20 you give the club $7
Nude dance $40 you give the club $14
drink quota of 8 drinks, tip the waitress a $1 a drink
tip the dj $1 a dance
tip the manager $1 a dance
tip the bouncer who marks the board .50 cents a dance.
I know there is a "stage fee", when I worked there it was $25, but I am sure it has gone up.
The SR's in California take A LOT of your money.
This info could be really outdated though.

wowza I work over in the SM one and the fees are the same x-cept the stage fee is like 15bucks. wow 25! Was there good money to be made there? Since I work at the SM one they don't allow us to work at the SB one b/c they both have the same district manager(thats what I was told not that it makes any sense since the moneys all going to the same damn place) .
Just go down to the SR Oxnard one and work a shift or two and see how you like it. There is money to be made in Oxnard though. How is the money up in SR Santa Maria??
If it's a choice between SM and SB, I'd take SB every time money-wise. If you work dayshift in SB it's $15. Night shift is $25.
Never been to the Oxnard one, but the girls there said it was in a shady part of town (SB Rhino area is actually kind of nice, close to the beach). I've heard that the Oxnard dressing room is small, the stage floor is hard tiled (bruises anyone?), but other than that, same as above.
I'm actually kind of surprised the SM Rhino is still open. How long have you been dancing there? Who is the GM now? Is Leah is still there?

I've been dancing at the SM one for about 10-11 months, the manage(s) are Tim and Christian, and the DM is jesse(not sure if thats how it's spelled) I heard the girls in oxnard are C-Razy! not to offend anyone but thats one thing I'm sorta worried about. I haven't heard of Leah, so she might be gone already. Do any of you ladies work the Oxnard or SB Rhino?

I used to work at all three! This was over 7 years ago, I was still friends with the DJ, Sean that worked at the SM one, since we both used to live in SLO.
The Oxnard dressing room is small, probably the smallest I have ever seen. The Oxnard club attracts more of Hispanic clientel, so if that's your thing you could do very well. Oxnard is the biggest of the three.
I did best at the SB one and on Friday and Saturday they stay open to 3am, last I heard.
They tried to say that if you worked at the SM club you couldn't work at the others but I did and I never went back to SM, cuz SB was sooo much better.
Just try all three and stick with the one you do the best at. I think they will let you try SB, seriously, when is mangement ever consistent?

Very true managment is never consistent. I will def. try Oxnard in the next couple of weeks, and hopefully SB soon. Are you talking about Sean Vedro?![]()
Rhino SM was the first place I ever danced. That was about five years ago. Back then the managers were DK and Leah. Tim was still a door man. DK went to Industry and now I think he's at SB.
Some of the girls I miss from SM are Anya and Dinah. I doubt either of them are still there, but if they are tell 'em Tara says hello.
Anyway, when I worked at SM they told me Santa Barbara was crazy. But when I got there it wasn't any better or worse than Santa Maria. I'm sure it's the same with Oxnard. Some girls will be nasty and others won't. I wouldn't worry about that.
Now, if you decide to go to Santa Barbara to work, I've got a list an arm long of people you could say hi to for me!
