Those poles are brass? I was there for over a year and never noticed...shows how much I was paying attention
I don't do fancy pole work, but I have always preferred the brass over steel. You're right, there is much more control...it's like your skin grips the pole better.

The one I have at home isn't even stainless steel, it's just a fucking electrical conduit pipe. It's hard as hell to do anything on, and I was wondering if this would mean an improvement when I tried brass again--about the only reason to play on steel, if you can afford brass as I can. It's true, so I might keep the damned thing up a while more, lol....

yep i have heard this too.
apparently the poles in sydney are brass. but here in melb they are all stainless.
i have only ever used stainless.
also our poles are thicker. i wish they would make them thinner coz i have really small hands.
