    I have girls that sometimes ask me for workout advice, and certain things to take to help boost meta and get toned...ect ect

    I usually have no clue what to tell them since that has never been my goal. I usually just eat a lot, take tons of protein and basically lift to put on mass...which isnt ideal for women.

    So, lets hear it.

    Eat every three hours, pairing protein and complex carbs at every meal. Decrease carb intake toward the end of the day (you'll never burn it off). And drink buckets of water. Sugar is white poison, so all refined carbs are out. And fiber intake should be around 30 g a day (you work your way up to it). The majority of how you look is how you eat.

    Training: Most women are afraid to lift heavy, thinking that it will "bulk" them. This basically means that most women will not lift any weight over 10lbs. This is idiotic, as you cannot keep lifting the same weight in the same fashion and expect your body not to acclimate itself to the work (and therefore, not get anything out of it). Train heavy. Alternate in some light days to keep your body guessing. Rest 30-60 seconds between sets and mix up the exercises. Supersets, drop sets, pyramid training: all wonderful at shocking the body.

    Cardio: 30 minutes, 3-4 times a week. And I mean *cardio*, not "Oh, I just read such a great magazine on the treadmill." If you can do anything but breathe heavy and listen to your iPod during your cardio, you are not working hard enough. Don't do it halfassed. If you're in the gym, be in the gym, not pansying about.

    Fuck I love lifting weights over cardio.
    For me to loose weight fast is pretty much what Rozz said. For weight training I do 15-20 or more reps (depending on the machine) for my legs and I try to bulk up my arms to even out my pear shape. Cardio is a mean bitch which means 5-7 days a week at 30-45 min to drop weight fast.
