Hello, I am planning on opening a new strip club in two years and was hoping for input on what should and should not go into a SC.
Hello, I am planning on opening a new strip club in two years and was hoping for input on what should and should not go into a SC.
Naked women should go in a strip club.
Sex offenders should not go in in a strip club.
Seriously, from when I was looking into starting a club - it's basically the same thing as a dance/night club. So plan as if it was that. Everything from the sound system to toilet paper supplies to an accounting system for drinks and door fees. Who your vendors are going to be, blah blah blah.
Then, adding dancers really is simply a differentiator from your club from any other club.
First you get a lawyer to tell you what the rules are from the local and state governments. Then you do what the rules tell you to do. These will say everything from lighting, security, and fire requirements.
And of course, the rules are different depending on your city, county, and state.
After jumping through all these hoops, you will be broke.
You will still hear about how the locker room is a dive because some dancers broke shit dancing on the counters and scribbled crap all over the place no matter how many times you fix and clean stuff. Plus there is the extended drama of who stole my money, who stole my customer, and who didn't tip.
Coyote Ugly has the right idea for making money in a sexually charged atmosphere. Some restaurants have taken to catering specifically men with hot little numbers - Hooters, Bikini Atoll, Bone Daddys. These places are always PACKED and you don't need to deal with the legal bullshit (and other BS.)

In that region, essentially all of the 'clean' clubs are owned by Hustler / DejaVu Corp ... who will not hesitate to use tactics which will 'starve' a competing 'clean' club out of business. For example, the new club may have extreme difficulty getting dancers to work for 'competitive' levels of splits and tipouts, because a tactic may come into play where Hustler / DejaVu puts out a directive to their dancers that ANY dancer who goes to work for the new club will NEVER be rehired at a Hustler / DejaVu club. This in turn will force the owner of the new club to sacrifice profit margin by offering dancers lower tipouts and higher split percentages in order to attract enough top notch girls, or force the owner of the new club to try and operate profitably with dancers that Hustler / DejaVu won't hire.

i wish every guy who posts about wanting to open a club would just hand out checks to every dancer who wants to quit. there's no need for more clubs, but there is always a need for dancers to have money.
