read the hustle hut, and use the search feature to find specific threads. i will mention this though

what do I actually say when I walk up to a customer to see if he wants a dance?
for starters, you don't walk up and just "say something" like "wanna dance". you have to work up to popping the question, which can take anywhere from a minute to 15 depending on the pace of your club, how busy it is, his personality, how much time you want to invest, etc. i say "up to 15" because that's the absolute most ammount of time i will spend with a customer who hasn't bought a dance or at least tipped me very well. usually i spend even less time (1-2 songs), but when it's slow i'll give it a bit more time.

as far as what to say and do during that time period, i direct you again to the hustle hut.

Like my fiance says, you'll have to develop that Spidey-sense for the customers that have money to spend. It constantly amazes me when we go to clubs and she'll just look at a guy sitting all by himself and say "He has money to spend. The first one to talk to him is gonna have a good night." Next thing you know, he's been up in the private room for an hour with the one dancer who actually approached him.

I suppose the corollary to this rule is to not fear approaching customers. The girls in the club who are making the money are the ones who are going out and EARNING it, not waiting for it to come to them.

I just ask them there name and how they are doing then I ask them if they would like a dance. I also go for the big guys and older gentlemen.

I'll let you in on my wee secret i approach guys in the way i would approach a guy i liked at a normal club. Just introduce myself, ask if their having a good night, maybe where they are from and after a few minutes pop the question.
Well obviously i don't ask guys in normal clubs if they want a lap dance but you get the picture.

Ok last night I had my 4th night of dancing.I don't know what I'm doing wrong,I only managed to get one dance and everyone else says no(mostly not yet or later).I am losing self confidence but yet I still keep a smile on my face.I must be saying something wrong! It's been like this, now I had a total of 4 dances ever!Could you girls help me out on this? How were your nights when you were a newbie?I'm sure you look back a lot and say, "I wish I didn't say/do that!" or vice versa.Thank you SW!

It may have something to do with your club. Was it dead? Were guys buying dances from other girls? If guys are buying dances from other girls, and not from you, then you might want to sit back and watch what they are doing, how they approach the guys, and how long they sit with them. A lot of it might be confidence, also. It will come over time, I promise you. Sounds like you're keepin' on smiling, which is what you do need to do, whether you're selling or not. Fake it 'til you make it.

Read in the Hustle Hut, and lots on the newbie board. Good luck.

Yes I still keep smiling, and it was busy that night.I think they are buying from other girls since they do know what they are doing.I think I do have a confidence issue, many girls seem to say that's what it is.I just don't seem to understand how to go around selling dances. The job is pretty fun though that's for sure. Thanks

have you used the search function yet? im sorry, but i wont repeat things i've said in hustle hut. GO SEARCH! and yes, while confidence is key, you can totally play up the newbie factor... also, learn from another dancer HOW to give a lap dance, have her give you one, and practice one on her, let her give you pointers. or, if you're too shy to approach another girl, watch a moneymaker give one. bec sometimes newbies dont sell dances bec other guys see them giving bad dances. this is not the reason you're not selling, im sure, but just something i think ALL newbs should do.

    Love it!
