    Default misleading custies

A 2 part question I thought of while replying to another thread. If this has already been talked about I'm apologize.Have any of the dancers on this here ever pursposely misled a guy? I mean purposely leading a guy to think she had more interest than just biz.Whether you have or not I'm sure you've seen other dancers do it.How do you feel or react when you see it? When I worked as a DJ I saw it done a lot and I'll be honest I used to find it funny.I'm almost ashamed to admit that now but I was younger, usually drinking and didn't fully realize how easily some guys can be misled.I used to think all guys knew going in what the deal was but at least from what I've seen in my experience most don't

Some guys know the score, some don't. Sometimes a guy will just lose all sense of reason when a naked woman tells him how cute he is as she moves his belly aside to slide onto his lap and all the blood rushes to his crotch. Naked flesh and body spray are a deadly combination...But of course Kat's right...no dancer would ever intentionally lead a customer on just to make money....whew!

I thought your question was pretty clear. I think that, if you read between the lines, the responses would indicate that strippers tell guys what they want to hear in order to get them to spend money on them and that those of us who go to clubs regularly are not surprised by it. If we were bothered by it we probably wouldn't be regular SC customers.

Oh boy; just treat a visit to the gentlemen's club with the same caution you'd use for a visit to an auto dealership and you'll be fine.

A lot of guys will hear what they want to hear. Think of Jim Carrey in "Dumb & Dumber" when he asks Lauren Holley " what are the chances of a girl like me and a guy you like you getting together? 10 to 1? 100 to 1?" She answers " more like a million to one. " He responds " so you're saying there's a chance." And she wasn't even trying to mislead him.

I'm not talking about myself and I'm not talking about regs either.I was talking about the shy.naive, maybe lonely, non reg.I would sit in the booth and see that type guy come in.There were some dancers that would do what they needed to do to make money but were nice to the guy and careful not to intentionally lead him on.Then there were some dancers that would see that type guy and pounce. They would take advantage of his naiveness, lonelyness, inexperience in the club. They're the type of girls I was asking about. From reading around I don't think any of the girls here are like that but I'm sure you've worked with them.I was asking what you think of those type dancers.

It's a business, and just like at the auto dealership (as someone said), you may have to get screwed first to learn your lesson for later (no pun intended).

On that note, I wouldnt care either way if a woman took advantage of a customer in that fulfilling his fantasies (giving him the idea that it may be more) is part of the sell... that's what she is selling.

I've been on the receiving end a few times so I understand the emotional impact on an unprepared customer. But really, it's just part of the game and the whole point of being a newbie is to endure the rite of passage and eventually become a veteran.

I like to joke about wearing kevlar body armor to the club to deflect the SS. Sort of like bullets bouncing off Superman's chest. But the verbal jousting between dancer and custy is often fun, especially when you know your vital organs are protected and the worse you can expect is (to quote Monty Python) "merely a flesh wound".

Some guys are taken aback by it all but really, with the proper mindset, it can add to the experience.

I won't do business with anyone or any company that crosses the line of what I consider ethical business practices with me, and I don't think very highly of them. *cough* Best Buy *cough*

Strip club fantasy is good, blatant false hope is not. Hustle is good, cheating and ripping off a customer are not. In between exists a wide grey area, and innocent mistakes happen. No one's a mind reader. Be careful and be forgiving. On the other side of things, some behavior is blatant scamming. Sometimes people / companies just rationalize away their own bad behavior because money is more important, but they know what they're doing. After ~ 11 years of strip clubbing, only one dancer is on my "unethical shitlist." Thank the Almighty for the skepticism that comes from having low self-esteem (and the knowledge obtained being here for so many years), or I'd be one serious PL by now.

So to answer your question in the above context, I feel bad for the customer who gets hustled beyond mere "fantasy." I feel bad for the dancer who offers mere sexy fantasy and ends up with a crazy pissed-off stalker on her hands ("But I thought you loved me!"). The shy, lonely, naive guy you mention is going to face far bigger problems in life than what he encounters from the occasional unethical dancer. Most of the pity I have for your hypothetical guy is for what his life is like outside of the club.

stat, I reposted the OP. You mentioned scamming and so forth and on that I agree. I mean, if a dancer says "Hey baby, I really like you. Take me back to VIP and I will give you a blow job" that is a scam if she doesn't deliver the BJ. But if she is just flirtatious (even to the extent of acting like you are special to her) and even vague about the services (I will blow your mind back there) I don't see that as being outside the norm of what can be expected in a club.

I'm assuming the OP was talking about the vagueness and false intimacy, not a blatant ROB experience. ROB's should be beheaded LOL

Im not the misleading type, i choose not to conduct business like that because i believe it would create problems in the long run.

I have seen and do know girls who definately "mislead" customers into thinking that they have a chance with them.
I also know dancers who do other things that i consider unethicall such as taking money out of the pockets of really drunk customers during dances and recently a dancer who took an intellectually disabled customer for $500 worth of dances when I dont think he really knew what he was doing.

I dont work like that, i just couldnt.

But as for guys who cant separate fantasy from reality, when there are no tricks involved. Well i dont have sympathy for them.

jaizaine, stealing money from drunks or taking advantage of someone mentally disabled or lying about specific activities is ROB. But I don't think vague flirtatious misleadings or SS is out of the norm even though I tanked a few times back in my newbie days. Customers need to learn over time and deal with the parallel universe accordingly.
