    Default "MAC Sundressing" review

Here's my little review about this product.. (It's a foaming bronzer for your body, made by MAC).
I bought it after much debating (the stuff is like $30 Canadian), and so far I'm not thrilled with it.. I got the "deep dark" or whatever the darkest colour is, and I find it really hard to get it blended in evenly..They even sell a special brush for applying it but that also is stupidly expensive, so I just rub it in my palms and try my best!
I am using it with the Jergens Glow lotion now and this seems to help it blend easier but it takes awhile till it feels dry. The stuff does make me more tanned/shimmery.. I'll maybe post some pictures of before and after next time I use it.
Also!! I was dancing for this dude who was wearing khaki-coloured shorts. At the end I looked down at his shorts and noticed he had bronze lines all over them!! I was like "oh crap I hope I didn't leave those!", but I told him it must have been from the last girl he danced for because I don't have anything on that would transfer! So I have yet to know for sure if this stuff is truly "Transfer resistant" like it says. Supposedly it is, but those brown shorts made me wonder if my stuff had rubbed off or another girl did it..

Mystic tans seem to work best for me

I generally find any sort of all over body makeup is going to rub off at work at least a bit, if not a lot.

I also notice that lots of shimmery stuff, or anything with colour, likes to rub off, even when it's not supposed to. I notice it on my own costumes more than anything. I've kinda just stuck with the Jergens before bed (I shower it off before work), and tanning once in a while. So mostly I'm just pale again, but I'm so lazy. Is the mystic not a good way to go? I only did it a few times because I hate the smell, but I'm curious if there are other downsides.

Darn.. I was so excited when they told me it's "transfer resistant".. Guess they weren't counting on someone wearing it sweating and rubbing on ppl all night. Ya, it could be because I mix it with the shimmer cream.. I can always return it if it gets to be too bad. Molly, I love those gradual tanning creams now too, I quit real tanning and I think the black lights really play tricks on my skin tone so I look semi-tanned in the club at least.
About the Mystic, I used to love it, it gave me great colour, but then it just stopped working on me!! I tried everything I could think of to make it work again, but for some reason it hardly put any colour on me. Then I read a thread on here about how they changed their formula and lots of ppl are finding it doesn't work anymore on them. So you can try it, it does smell until you shower but if it'll work on you it's great! Also, Studio 455 in Ottawa (on Churchill) does the Fantasy Tan airbrush tanning...WOW- It's awesome but $$$$$!!

So is the MAC stuff a body makeup or is it a sunless tan? I like the airbrush tan better than the mystic. The mystic would never settle into my skin right. I would have to get sea salt scurbs to remove the spots that it left on my skin. Now I tan in a bed a few times a month. And, also use neutrogena sunless tan.

Yeah, MAC doesn't make these for lap dancing! More for girls who are wearing a skirt and want their legs to look nice or older ladies with spider veins and what not. Transfer resistant is not the same as transfer proof.

If I ever create a makeup line, I am going to have some products specifically marketed towards strippers!

If it's too thick to apply and blend evenly, try applying it with your body lotion.

Victoria's Secret used to make a body bronzer that was my FAVORITE product ever! I fucking love this stuff. I've had my bottle for two, maybe three years. It's super thick and super dark. I'm super pale. I would put several pumps of my normal body lotion in to my hand and then squeeze out about 1/4 to 1/2 the amount of the bronzer in the same hand and use a finger to mix it all together in my palm.... then I'd apply.

    Worked beautifully!
