Silly question...but do you notice any difference in earnings between having your hair up or down? Just wondering...I always wear mine down...but change is nice sometimes.
I make much more money with my hair down. But I tend to dance with my hair - I flip it, twirl it around, and generally make it fly everywhere. When my hair is up I don't feel as sexy, so that might have something to do with it.
I do well with my hair up OCCASIONALLY. I stress that. I pull a full look with it though, messy bun, glasses, red lipstick, office/school girl type outfits. I dance with my hair as well, so I prefer not to dance with it up, but sometimes I'm lazy.

I found I felt more 'natural' with my hair up ... I did my bangs to one side to make it look more glamourous and used a clip in hair piece to make my ponytail longer.
It felt good and I made money those nights

I would like to wear my hair up, but I am completely clueless when it comes to making it look good. Hair up for me usually just means ponytail. Does anyone who does it have any ideas for pretty updos?

If you have hair past ur shoulders you could surl or spike the ends and use a pretty butterfly clip and some hairsrapy. real low maintenece but sexier then just a ponytailI always feel sexy when i swoop some hair to the side also
Only time mine goes up is if I get overheated and we are super busy. I have hair passed my bra strap so it tends to get hot hot hot under there. I will either put it in a clip or a ponytail, but I have a habit of taking it down and then up in front of guys so technically it isn't really up for long. Guys seem to like it down, for the sex appeal.
I'll put it up before a dance and then take it down during.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

i try to wear it down, but sometimes i get annoyed with it and/or i'm having a bad hair day, so i put it up.
but, i notice that i make more with it down.
the only exception is when it's up as part of my costume on costume day... like in pigtails for the school girl thing or up in a sexy messy do for the secretary outfit. when it really "goes with" what i'm wearing, i make just as much as if it were down.
Maybe you could do a french roll for an up-do. You can get more ideas from hair magazines @ your local Pharmacy or even Target or Walmart.

I've definitely made more money with my hair down.

i have gorgeous hair. that sounds so stuck up, haha, but its my favorite thing about me. long, soo silky, and super healthy. i always assumed that hair down=more money. but since i started at my new club, ive seen a lot of girls who always wear their hair up. i started putting my hair in a ponytail a lot of the nights ive worked, and generally i've done better those nights. maybe it just depends on the club...
I preferred to keep my hair down.
Once I had this elaborate braided updo done and and showed up to work. This was at Flashdancers in NYC. They told me I wasn't allowed to have my hair up. I Couldn't take the whole thing apart, so they made me pay/use the hairstylist to take apart the back and keep it as a half up half down style. Plus they fined me. The jerks.
Since I don't know how different clubs are, I had never showed up to another club with my hair up.

Both can work, but generally the flowing of long hair is preferred by men. However, up can look very sophisticated. I'd pair an updo with an older outfit/look. Think slutty Holly Golightly.
It depends on the shape of your head I find. People always tell me I look better with my hair up, and I think it's because I have a lot of fullness at the bottom of my face. So when my hair is up, that sort of balances it out.
I make more when I wear my hair down, but that's rarely. I hate wearing my hair down because it gets messy and sweaty too fast (especially now that the weather's so hot). The guys love it but it makes me feel icky. Most nights I sort of compromise, I have a pretty butterfly clip that I use to either bun or pony my hair up and then as I hit the stage during one of the first few pole moves I take the clip off and "release my inner wild sexual creature," lol. The guys seem to love it. I do this during a VIP sometimes too. I've found also that when I wear my hair down men seem more inclined to touch it and I hate it so wearing my hair up is just easier for me. I have pretty long bangs that flow freely on my face too that I have to flick aside so I think it goes better with the guys than if I had all my hair squeezed up tightly.

Asurfael, I had my hair down a week ago when it was like 107 outside, sweat was running down my back and all over my hair and it was sticking to my body... I felt pretty discusting... but the guys seem to really dig that, reminds them of good, sweaty sex I think!
I wear hairpieces 100% of the time at work. A lot of them are kinda like clip-on ponytails, and some are half wigs, but the one thing they all have in common is that they are long and thick. Guys want us to have lustrous hair so bad that they'll believe even the worst wig is real.![]()
