    Default Rainy Vacation

So I took off the last week of August from work so my honey and me can take a little breather. I was thinking somewhere warm near the beach and tropical (palm trees will suffice) for us. The only problem is I waited too long to get my passport (i didn't believe anyone who said passports were going to take extra long since they passed that new law) soooo I have to restrict myself to USA. I was thinking Florida but someone told me that it rains the whole month of August. So any suggestions based on the criteria I stated above? Thanks alot ladies!

Yep..it's hurricane season here in FL. The sun pokes out occasionaly, but dedpending where in the state you are going it rains a LOT. Here in south Fl..we get rain every day at least once...3-5 pm showers come in from the Everglades.

Nice thunderstorms this afternoon, wouldn't you say? Did you lose power?

LOL..no loss of power here. It grumbled a bit and flickered but we're used to that this time of year!

The keys are about the same...little less rainy then here, but still pretty wet this time of year. (still fun though!)
