    Default Nutrisystem?

Hey everyone! About 1-2 months ago, my bf and I decided to start eating healthy because we ate like serious SHIT. I'm talking really unhealthy: sausage-cheese-bagel sandwiches for breakfast and going out to eat every night (this was before we got our fridge installed) and late hours too, not to mention drinking a whole lot (everyday at LEAST 2 drinks, but usually more). I used to be a huge gym rat, but the last 4 months I hadn't gone, and I just started up again last week . I have never been superskinny, but I always weighed between 126-130 and NEVER gained weight despite all the shit I ate. I noticed when we started eating healthy I wasn't really losing any weight? And today I freakin weighed myself and I'm 135!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm also noticing now that I am bigger I am constantly comparing myself to girls at work and feeling so down on myself that I dont want to go in. What gives??? I also was taking stacker3s and I can't believe I've been gaining weight. I'm actually thinking about doing Nutrisystem.....has anyone tried it?? I know I need to go on a serious diet (I want to lose at least 10 pounds, at the most 15) but I don't want to devote my life to measuring out ingredients and fussing over a stove, which is why I like the idea of delivery-to-my-door and just heating it up. I've always had a pretty good metabolism.....if anyone on here has used this, how much weight did you lose over the course of a month, if you dont mind?

To be honest with you I wouldn't waste my money. all that food is processed. start eating 6 meals a day eats lots of dark green veggies (carrots includes) with chicken (boneless, skinless chicken breast) you can cook it in a pan with olive oil and add as much salt free seasoning to it as you want. make jello snacks and stuff low in fat High fiber cereal...stuff like that.. you don't need to spend $400 on food just to loose 10-15 lbs. Chances are you still look great...but what matters is how you feel.

I ordered a few Nutrisystem meals from ebay to try them out. They weren't that good and were soooo tiny it was a joke. I'd just buy Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers frozen meals if you want to go that route. Plus NS wants you to add fruit and crap too so what is the point of prepackaged meals if you have to eat other stuff?

You've been on a diet one week and you're worried it doesn't work?

That's how diets go. Your body is still getting used to the change and is very confused.

Give it at least three more weeks before you start resorting to $1000 a week meals on wheels.

I buy the Weight Watcher meals and dessert when I want a break from eating Chicken breast and steamed veggies. They are actually good and feel me up! The desserts are awesome!!! ( I love the mint chocolate icecream and it only has like 140 calories with I think 3 grams of fat! and my favorite Weight Watcher meal is the Lasagna Florentine...mmmmm I need to learn how to make health homemade version! It has not meat (I am obviously not a vegitarian) but it is so good and the broccoli and alfredo with no meat is really good too! If you can't tell I don't care for prepacked meats in frozen meals... It is not very often I buy frozen meals that contain meat! If I am going to eat meat I have to know it is fresh cooked and actaully the meat that it is labeled to be..

I would just make the food yourself, it doesn't have to be anything complicated.
