    Arrow Fantasy Booths

Ok ladies! Who has worked in one or who is currently employed by one? Are there any good money making ones you'd suggest? Any funny/horror stories? And what about Peep Shows...are there any states where those still exist?

I worked in one for a while and actually liked it. There was no touching of course. Pretty much I got to sit around all day and look cute. Shows didn't take long and it was possible to really rack up. There were downsides though, like dealing with creeps who'd drift in and sometimes leaving there without a show on slow days, but overall it was good for me.

I'm actually wondering if they have them here in MD. I haven't found any.

I worked in one in New Hampshire, but it was actually all on closed circuit TV (it used to be a traditional peepshow, but NH has fucked up nudity laws, so now its all on camera.) I actually did really well there for about a month, but there was a catch. There was a very goodlooking, big fake boobied (this girl looked like a porn star) girl that had been there for 7 years or so. She had a bug following, and when I started, she was off for about 3 weeks and I took her schedual...and got her regulars. When she came back I was put on nights and made shit for money.
This was in an adult store, and you only went in your "room" when you had a show, otherwise you stayed in the store and tried to sell shows. I liked it there when I was making money, but working nights I'd wanna rip my eyes out, sitting there all day with NO customers. Alot of men would be interested...but once they found out it was cameras...didn't want to pay...considering there were 2 stripclubs down the road in MA and they could get a lap dance there for the price of what it cost to see me naked on camera.
They also had alot of pretty strict rules about you couldnt befriend any other dancers and you couldnt work at any clubs or anything, or even do amateur nights. The house fees were kinda high too and if you didnt make the money you had to make them up next shift, even though it was sometimes hard to make the money (though the one time I didnt make it they didnt make me make it up, but thats because I was making them lots of many, I know girls that would end up owing 200$ because it kept building up) and they also got all the time money for the booth (dollar a minute).
It wasn't bad, the guys couldnt talk to you outside of the booth really, so you didnt have to deal with stupid shit, but all in all I have a better time and make more money at my club...hat and we had strict scheduals at the peep show.

Oh, wow. That is really strict. They were making money off you girls hand over fist! At the place I worked in NY things were pretty loose. Like, you could stay to do a double if you wanted or just call in and ask to come in that day. Sometimes girls would just show up and work. There weren't any house fees -- as the customers had to put $10 in the machine and $x to the girl up front just to get in the booth for a basic show.

Nights for me ended up being more profitable than days. Days were mostly fair skinned Dominican girls and many of the customers spoke Spanish.

The set up sounds the same though. The booths were in a video/toy store where we were also on camera. Customers could actually walk into the store and look at us sitting or standing on a tv screen if they didn't want to walk straight back to see us. We could see them too on our screen in the back. No one ever really seemed deterred by the fact that the cameras were there. I guess that's standard in your regular toy/video store nowadays.

The managers didn't have any rules about outside work or relationships with co-workers. The other girls just advised me not to advertise the fact that I danced. The store actually had a "sister club" that I never worked in because I heard that it was a dive...

I guess I miss that job because during the down-time we just sat in chairs outside of our booths and watched tv, listened to the overhead music, ordered food, shopped for stuff in the store, whatever. I mean girls would bring in music and DVDs to entertain us and there was always a good story to be shared there. The money was so easy! I don't miss the slow days though. :-(

The Lusty Lady in the SF Bay Area is a traditional peep show. Dancers are separated from the customers by glass at all times I am pretty sure. Have not been inside yet nor have I auditioned for them yet so I do not know all the specifics. But they have a fantasy booth that according to their website involves masturbation shows and sometimes two-girl shows which I believe probably implies two girls getting it on or something? Not entirely sure how it works but yeah, there are still old-school style peep shows about. That and the Lusty Lady is a unionized worker-owned cooperative which is pretty groovy.

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.

RebeccaSolidarity, that is awesome! I have never heard of a sex industry business like that before! Now, if I could just find one on the East Coast...

Yeah, as far as I know they are the only unionized strip club in the United States and also I think the only worker owned cooperative. There is a really great documentary about called Live Nude Girls Unite! and it tells most of the story of the unionization process. After unionizing, the owners eventually were going to shut down the club but the dancers rallied together and purchased it instead and set up the cooperative. They pay is not as good as it is in more traditional clubs but dancers make $20 an hour even when they are not on stage and I am pretty sure there is tipping involved as well, though not as much I think. But hey, although $20 an hour may not compare to the sort of money that can be pulled in by working in a regular club it is definately a lot more than most folks working for an hourly wage make and it pays the rent and bills real easy. Plus, if one is working another club on the side or whatever it makes saving that much easier because one can rely on the steady paycheck as "living money" and the rest (or some portion of the rest) as untouched savings and build up good money in an account pretty quickly. Especially if using a CD or some other kind of higher interest savings account. Though from what I hear most of the dancers there (the ones who I know anyway) are not so good at the whole savings thing so once I get back to the bay (if I stay there) I am thinking of organizing a sort of social dunch (dinner lunch!) once a week for support, social time, and also money saving workshops and stuff like that. Finally the hourly wage and worker cooperative environment really really cuts down on the competition between dancers and they all have a much stronger coworker-family bond than I have heard other clubs have.

Heck! They even had a float in the SF Pride Parade this year!

When I was still working as a domme I managed to save up around $20,000 in less than a year thanks to my hourly rate and my ability to live on little money. But then, I am also a street punk to an extent so my comfortable standard of living has always been a lot lower than that of most people. But I am going on and on now, but yeah the Lusty Lady pretty much rules. The cooperative can be problematic for some of the dancers and service staff sometimes but it is a pretty good place for people like me who would get fired from most other clubs for even whispering the word "union" or whatever even though I am only unionized as an independent contractor (radical model, domme, etc) and not as a dancer.

One friend seems pretty quiet and private about what goes in the booth though. Since it is advertised on the website that there are mastuabation and two-girl shows in there, it makes me wonder if other things happen that are not advertised. I dunno. I do know that also one day in May all of the glass comes down and it becomes more like a normal club except they have like spanking rooms and backstage tours and stuff too.
