    Default Clubs Run By Ex-Dancers

Just wondering. Have any of you ever worked at a club that was run/owned by an ex-Dancer? If so, was the experience any different than the "standard" club management?

The worst pit of hell joint I worked in was run by a Korean woman and an ex-feature dancer. F*ck those bitches. It taught me that women can treat eachother as hatefully as men can treat women.

OTOH, an overall nice club managed by ex-dancers is not a bad place to be. I've seen that too (thankfully.)

My clubs owned by a man but all of our managers and head managers are women who have danced at the club. I like it personally--I find it easier to talk to them and that they seem to be more understanding and 'in the know' about the situations in the club. And they always have thinks stocked that we need and, consequently, we do NOT need a house mom, hence there is not another mouth to feed.

The first club I ever worked in was owned by a man, but run by two ex-dancers. It was great. But short lived....

This is one thing I was wondering. If they remember the dancers side of things, or if they completley change to only a management viewpoint.

All the managers at the club i work at in sacramento are ex dancers... i like it. Its like having 3 moms.. even the one male manager was a bouncer and his wife used to work there so he treats the girls very well.

I worked at a club with a lady floorman and bartender/manager (both dancers) for a night and I liked it. They were very understanding and encouraging. It was a really low-key pleasant atmosphere. The next night there was a different lady bartender/mgr but I'm not sure if she'd ever danced and a different floorman. It sucked and I left.
