Default Saying Goodbye To My Twenties

I woke up this morning and my Thirties had arrived. It was time, I realized, to say goodbye to my Twenties. Unlike many late twentysomethings, I have been actually looking forward to today. So, without hesitation, I quickly packed up all of the baggage that my Twenties had accumulated and showed them the door. As I quietly whispered my goodbyes, they turned to look over their shoulder, a tear streaming down their face. "Don't give me that look," I said, "It's time for you to go. Together we have caused trouble and heartache for me and everyone around me and it's clear that we have a toxic relationship. Just go." With that, my Twenties turned and walked away. I slammed and locked the door. "AND STAY OUT!"

I've been sweating turning 30 in three years, so I got back in college and have some major trips planned before those years are up.

Sorry I missed saying Happy Birthday on your birthday. So, happy birthday one day late, and I hope your thirties will be as much fun for you as mine were.

Susan, you look like you're still in your twenties--many young years ahead of you! And a very happy belated Birthday, Glamazon--you're still a kid!

I only wish I had your courage.
I get more and more scared each year.
Lately I have't even been able to remember how old I am. After 21, they all start bluring together.
