Default 2 Helicopters Crash in Phoenix

This is terrible ,no write ups on this yet but on the news atm . The Police were chasing a guy who stole an SUV and the news choppers were following and they crashed into one another . The Police Chopper wasn't involved just two news Choppers. I think 4 or 5 dead how sad .

Do we really need to hear their final moments?
That's not news. That just pure nosey curiosity.
    I hate news sometimes.

Oh my god! That was chilling. So so sad.

So far NBC has the most details.

Well I'm curious yes but I don't see it as being a bad thing . Maybe because of this they will put more restrictions on this kind of coverage . Luckily no one was hurt on the ground .

Oh good grief. They're going to charge the criminals in the car chase with negligent homicide in the deaths of the helicopter pilots and cameramen (I literally heard just now on Fox News). Nothing like a good scapegoat to make everyone feel better.

Yes, good grief Charlie Brown. Seems like negligent suicide and homicide on the part of the copter-driver. But who has all the facts yet.

I just feel like this is voyeurism compounded upon voyeurism. The media has became much more like tabloid journalism that it ever was before. News anchors are now often young, nubile women. This is much different from the days of "just the facts" news about relevant issues that you would get from the avuncular Walter Cronkite.

Before O.J. Simpson, car chases were rarely reported live from the sky, but over the past 10-15 years every Tom, Dick, and Harry that is being chased by the cops is recorded live for the mases to see, especially on the west coast.

I feel like most news programs are becoming no better than Jerry Springer or Maury. It's more about entertaining the mases for ratings by giving them high speed car chases instead of focusing on real issues that affect people's lives.

I am surprised there havn't been more tragedies of this nature.
