^ The best reply to that remark would be, "I am smart enough to know what makes me the most money." Did you know Fabio is a bloody genius? That was his reply as well.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

It's not necessarily trollish. I do think that there is a stereotype that good looking=dumb and smart=nerdy. If that's what the newb is trying to say, I think we all have to agree.
A true story: I went to high school with a girl who was, outwardly, a bubblehead. She was blond, and very pretty, but always said "I dunno" when called on and stuff. We graduated, and I didn't see her for four years. Then I ran into her on my first day of law school. She was in my class. I asked her what she had been up to, and all it was was graduating summa from Cornell. I told her that I was sorry that I thought she was dumb in high school, and she said "Oh, lots of people did. I had to act stupid or no one would hang out with me." By no one, I guess she meant her friends.
As for Danica, I wonder if she had not stayed gorgeous (yes, I had a crush on her when I was 12, who didn't?) and done the cover of Stuff, would CNN even care that she is wicked smart? I like to hope so. But why does her book have to profile three "beautiful" mathmeticians? Why not just revere people for their accomplishments?
I love arguing with rhetorical questions.
