It's Platinum Stages. Here is their web site: http://www.platinumstages.com/ I ordered the removable one-piece, in brass, with the spinner attachment. You can put a pin in it to lock the spinning action.

I wanted the removable one because I have one small room in my house that I use for an exercise room. It has a TV and DVD player, weight bench, and all my exercise equipment and DVDs and so on. You have to walk through it to get to the bed room. I didn't want the pole to be in th way of other exercise routines or to be there for somebody to brain him or her self on a trip to the bathroom late at night.

It looks really cool. Please let us know what you think. I'm curious to know how difficult/easy you think it is to set up and take down.

The only one that is not good for polework is the Peek A Boo Pole!

If you like the PS pole and would like to see it used, you an view it on my YouTube channel in both static and spinning mode.

The pole is incredibly easy to set up. My 6-year- old son helped me do it in about 10 minutes. You have to have a second person stand on the base while you tighten the bolt at the top. My kid weighs only 56 lbs, so I made him hold a weight plate in each- hand!

PS was very nice. When I got the pole, there was something wrong with the bolt that adjusts the height. I called them right away and they sent a new bolt in a few days.

Tell your BF that the pole is totally removable. It stays up with rubber friction plates. It will not damage the ceiling or floor.

And it feels just as stable as it looks.

I also got the PoleKatz DVD. It is very good. It breaks down the tricks just like it says it does.

One question: How do you clean it?

Isopropyl Alcohol 70% USP is the best.

Removes oils and build up, without damage to the pole or your skin.

Also dries hands during pole play!

yup i using rubbing alcohol too. some people use windex, but i find that if you have sensitive skin, that can irritate it.

    have fun!

I got spoiled at my last club because they had spinning poles. Now I don't like my stationary pole anymore and I want to trade up for one that spins! Maybe after the move...
