what are the pros and cons of working in montana, in your experience?

Pros- appreciative customers, laid-back work atmosphere & great scenery and people.
CONS- income is up and down (unpredictable) and the local hotels commit highway robbery (called "summer/tourist rates")..Best to travel here with a pal so you can split expenses.
My home club is Fox Club Cabaret in Missoula, Montana, which would love to have experienced, mature traveling dancers. They're on

I work bookings in Montana, just left Shotguns last week. Billings clubs pay base payand regulate the amount of girls.
Montana is a hicky state and you don't get many sophisticated customers. You'll see guys in cowboy boots and spurs occasionally, and some even have a feather in their hats. LOL. Montana clubs focus on the stage much more than other places. Motel rooms are more expensive in the summer, but the clubs don't market themselves to attract many tourists.
Many Montana girls have never danced in big city clubs, and think dancing is all about stage and waiting for customers to ask you for a dance.
I did not do well enough outside of Billings and Laurel without base pay to make it worth driving across the mountains to rebook at Teasers, Buffalo Station, Sagebrush Sams, and the clubs in Missoula. I get along well with the owner and managers at Shotguns, so I just book there now. I used to book Planet Lockwood but had some conflict there with one of the housemoms a few years back and swore I'd never go back.
Since you are from Texas and used to working the floor, I think you'd make more money in Shotgun's or Planet Lockwood, since there is base pay there of $375 a week. Shotgun's is looking at dropiing the base pay and letting you keep all your dance money, and if you are on time all six days of your booking, you will get your $25-$30 a night house fees back at the end of the week.
The clubs in Billings are worth including pay $1300-$2000 a week. You'll never work with more girls than customers, usually 5-7 girls per night. Teasers you may work with 20-25 girls on weekends, 10-12 on weekdays. In Missoula, the clubs keep ALL of your dance and tip money, and take a percentage at the end of the night. They DON'T allow girls to carry ANY of their money with them on the floor. Fuck that!
What is contact like in Montana? Sorry if that's been answered here before. Just wondering. Are the lap dances like contact, grinding, etc.?

One way light contact, mostly. No grinding in Billings. In Bozeman you can do whatever you want but the custies can't touch at all. They're very strict about no custy touching everyplace I've been in MT.
Tina, that housemom at Planet Lockwood is gone (but I know SW has a no-dancing-for-them thing going on).
I've done better at Buffalo Station (housefee, but you keep all your dance money) than at Shotgun Willies (you get $15/dance, and you can have all the dance money cause the local girls don't hustle, but the guys just aren't used to getting dances and it's slow and they have to buy a chip from the DJ and stuff). Shotguns is fun and old school strippery tho.
