    Default A Question

A while back my wife and a girlfriend of ours went to a club. My wife and our friend had been drinking and were were having a good time playing pool and talking to a few of the dancers. I was apporached by the DJ and was told that one of the dancers complained that my wife and friend were laughing and talking too loudly and were disrupting her "act". We were just having a good time and I didn't realize that by doing so we were perhaps being rude. When I told my wife and friend, who happen to be hot tempered latin ladies, what the DJ had told me I felt it best that we leave. Can you give me an idea if laughter and talking, with other dancers, approximately thirty feet from the stage would disrupt an " act" ? Thanks.

If you're interested in getting useful ansers here, you might want to provide more detail. It sounds weird, though.

I can only see this as a problem if you were loud enough to be heard throughout the club over the music and/or you were doing anything that was distracting from the dancers(causing a scene, wife flashing or giving you a lapdance, etc...)

If you were just having fun and not making any more noise or distractions then the other custies..then I dont see the problem. Unless you were not tipping the girls and treating the strip club as a reg. bar. Then they might have gotten annoyed and this was the excuse to get you to leave.

were any of the females in your group dancing?

the biggest problem most dancers have with female customers is when they dance for their boyfriends/friends in the club.

    ^^^
    that's what I am thinking.
Most of us are pretty hostile towards women in the club.

Last night a couple were sitting at my podium at the end of the night with their tongues down eachothers throats so I complained to a bouncer and he told them off. Then the female was yelling and making a scene before they both got up and left.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I thank you for the replies. I had bought both my wife and our frined two lap dances each and we all were just having a good time so the dancers were well compensated for their time. Perhaps it was just a bad night for the dancer that complained. I suppose that it sometimes happens.

Seriously, I have danced for 3 years, me and a girlfriend went to a club I used to dance at a little while bk. We paid our 3 whole dollars each to get in, bought drinks and tipped at least 50 percent, tipped girls and bought a few dances. While we were waiting for a specific dancer to come over and entertain us, a manager (one who didnt know me), came over and asked us to leave. We were behaving better than the best male customer you can ever imagine. Since I dance, we made sure not to steal any attention, etc. I asked why and he said "since u just came in to check out the club don't u think u have been here long enough?" K, well i explained we didn't come to check out the club (for working purposes, and never incinuated that) we paid, were customers and intended to stay. He persisted , I got another manager and he explained alot of the girls were upset b/c we were two hot girls by ourselves and they thought we were distracting(again soooo not true, we were their business!). He was going to let us stay, but I was fuming and wanted out of there. My point, girls are jealous bitches, take it as a compliment and moooove along.

Thanks to all that replied to my question. To Pretty_Penny:the ladies that were with me were not dancing for me but were watching the dancers and tipping very well with my money. Oh well. Life goes on.
