    Yup, saw her on the Today Show. Both her mom and dad have some weird gene and since they both had it she ended up like that.

    It's caused by mutation in the myostatin gene. It results in "double muscling" which has been observed in mice, cattle, sheep and (i'm pretty sure) humans as well as dogs.

    I just hope the dog isn't suffering from it.

    My dog is mostly whippet and he is such a skinny looking thing, almost anorexic looking, as are most whippets.

    I know a human that had it. There were huge studies being done on him (he dated my mother) because it was so odd. He got accepted into Muscle Beach once and asked how to use a bench press machine. Everyone laughed at his 'joke' until he said, "No... really... how do you use it?" He never went to the gym a day in his LIFE but he could lift me when I was 11 with his PINKY ALONE. O.O He was a biiiig man.
