The other day I was thinking about all the amazing things I USED to do... you know, when mommy and daddy had full responsibility and I still lived at home (I left home @ 17 to go to college). It WAS a lot easier when others schleped me from place to place and paid for it all, before independence and bills and an adult life of my own becomes an issue.
I used to:
play the cello
sing (took classical voice lessons for years)
I was on my h.s. debate team (big surprise) and I did Oral Interpretation (glorified reading aloud) with Ginsburg's "Howl" and a passage from "The Hobbit."
I was on my high school's improv comedy team/cult for 2 years (like "who's line...") and we practiced 2x a week and performed shows every month.
Perform in a theatrical SOmEthing every year- either at school or my community theater.. lead roles, too... and people ask me if the spotlight bothers me (old-time attention whore here.)
I'm sure there's more, but this is what I can think of at the moment.
I actually used to RUN everywhere... really therapeutic...late at night- it was wonderful... before my knees got bad and i started smoking. poo on me...
I particularly miss the improv team.
So... what old hobbies/passions would YOU guys revive, what were you glad to get rid of, how have things transferred (or not) between your childhood/adolescence and young adult/adult life?

Dear Lord, save us from those thy children who speak without thought, and protect them also from the rotten tomatoes they shall thereafter receive in the kisser.

Hey Cameron, when you come out next, wanna be in a music video? I'm going to start making YouTube videos for awhile. I've got several I want to do. I could use a sexy actress who already has a following!
