I haven't used it, but did just start using the Olay Microdermabrasion and Peel and am pretty happy so far. Already starting to help fade scars and smooth the texture of my skin. I suggest looking at reviews on www.makeupalley.com

Me too, (Olay), I absolutely love it.
I was reluctant to try [email protected] (WOC) but someone here on SW actually convinced me to try (Maybe DylanAngel?)
Anywho, love it, and its under $20.
I saw a show recently that did a test on these and they found that the kits with the battery operated tool (I think Neutrogena has that) work better than the ones without.
I like the Olay one as well. The second step heats everything up and it just makes me feel like something is actually working in there.

Some other girls at another forum are also crazy about the olay one.Maybe Ill try that instead.
Hey, does anyone know if people who still get acne can use these kits?! I spent a long time yesterday in the drug store reading the info. on a "Physicians Formula" home microdermabrasion kit and found nothing to indicate whether it would be ok for people with acne (it just said over and over it was fine for people with sensitive skin).
I'm just wondering if the creams have oil in them or if anyone who's used them here can tell me if they'd make me break out more if I still get acne every now and then? Thanks!

my derm says you cannot use any harsh machanical exfoliation if you have acne.
I use the neutrogena one, i love it. Haven't compared them to anything else. But, if you use it follow the directions exactly, that stuff is really harsh. My face was smoother and I notice on the few days after I do it , i get alot of compliments on how young im looking( it must be that b/c it's only the days after I use it).

Spend the extra money and get it professionally done. I cannot recommend it highly enough for the change it has made to my skin. I get it done about once every 2 months now for maintenance.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
I have read reviews on the notorious aspirin mask and heard that it's just like microderabrasion. I just use uncoated dollar store aspirin and mix it with witch hazel, then exfoliated with a small scrubby pad from CVS. Nothing has even come close to matching the effectiveness of it.
