Default glue my coffee mug back together

i was shopping at urban outfitters yesterday with a friend and i picked out a coffee mug featuring the junior mints logo and green stars. deciding this was perfect for me, i carried it around the store with me until it slipped out of my hand and broke. the employees were nice enough to clean that mess up and i get a replacement mug.

i walk around all day with this mug and then right as i'm opening my car door the bag it's in splatters on the ground. fortunately, only the handle was broken off. the store was already closed for the day so i couldn't return it and get yet another mug.

last night i made a humble attempt to glue the handle back together with my hot glue gun in a band-aid-type motion. it seemed to hold up. i drank tea in this mug this morning and all the gluing came undone.

ugh. should i just crawl back to urban outfitters (far away) to get yet another mug or is there some glue i can use that will actually repair the ceramic handle?

Try Gorilla Glue, it works petty good. If not then I'd go back and get another one, maybe get someone else to carry it for you!

hot glue will melt under heat at all. Why don't you try superglue? I also recommend certain types of gorilla glue, or if you are really feeling hands on then epoxy but be SUPER CAREFUL because that shit does not come off of anything!

I don't mean to sound harsh but you are the one that dropped it. Why not just BUY a new one and/or fix the one you have? Expecting the place to keep replacing your breaking of their products is a little... mean? Not the word I'm looking for I'm sure... but just buy another one!

Weldbond. Glues most things to most things. I recommend thistothat.com for those who like websites dedicated to gluing.
