If you have large thighs, don't wear thigh highs that make your legs look like sausage links, even if you LOVE them. If you're flat-chested like me, you probably should steer away from tube tops. If you have a great ass, make SURE you get the style of booty shorts that looks best on you and doesn't hide that.

    3. Know your audience. Fridays and saturdays at most clubs bring in a younger crowd. They're not the gown crowd. They're the booty shorts crowd.

    4. Dress for your mood. If you have a lot of energy, and feel like shaking your ass, wear some shorts and go shake that ass. If you're determined to drink champagne in a VIP room for two hours tonight, bust out that rhinestone choker and a gown, etc. Dress as if you literally have a fucking date (not the prostitution kind!) with a millionaire lined up back there and go hustle the crowd for him.

Best I can offer for now.

    Good advice here.

There is a new girl at my club who only ever wears a thong and she is a top earner. So I guess it doesn't really matter?

I do the same thing! I usually wear my Tiffany necklace and a tennis bracelet for good luck. I know it's silly to bring valuable things to the club, but I make more money when I wear them. Something about wearing diamonds makes me feel special, and when I'm confident, I make money.

i find that if i look around the club, and dress a little different from the norm for that club, i make money, people always then copy me, and when they do, i just change it up again

Here is my outfit I was talking about, I washed it and the strings came out but just the way if fits me, it brings out my good features. I just say I notice a difference in the money I make in a lot of clubs, but yea it depends a lot on the club. Where I am working at now I am seeing that it really doesn't matter, it's a nude club, It just depends.

    Tried and tested.
Friday night I went in thinking i'm sick of these cheap guys scraping change together to get the cheapest dance. i want a VIP god dammit!! and I put on my satin dreamgirl gown and rhinestone choker and got 3 dances from a guy, then a VIP, then another two dances from him.
    SCORE!

I have to agree with the OP. I've worked ALL kinds of clubs and it's been true for me across the board. Best money is made when you wear outfits that cover a bit more. Doesn't matter if the place is high end, blue collar, shithole, cowboy, young party crowd, middle-aged businessmen or whatever.

I have always laughed at girls who try to tell me I need to "show more" when they see what I'm wearing. I ALWAYS make more money than them. HA

And, DAMN STRAIGHT about the rhinestone choker and gown for getting VIPs and champagne. Oh yes. Or a office/teacher type outfit that is just BARELY stripperfied with hair in a bun. Some of my best nights ever have happened when I wore that type of outfit.

It definitely pays($) to keep covered! i remember when i first started, i NEVER took my top off (too shy! silly.) and i was constantly approached by curious custys for LD's. it really is true that the more you wear, the more you make, i think.

I usually go for "classy" over trashy, and I work in a place with most girls in bikinis (or hugely obese, Im 10 kg over my usual stripper weight, and Im in the MIDDLE of girls, size wise) so wearing a black gown with nice jewellery works well.
I LOOK like a real stripper, not just a girl at the beach.

Wardrobe is key to me. I prefer gown clubs, and I always wear lingerie underneath. Never bikinis or "stripper outfits". Real Victoria's Secret matching sets with garterbelts and stockings. It has an impact on the type of custy I'm trying to attract. And that is the real issue. You have to dress to target the client that will pay YOU the most in the club you are working. Blue-collar guys don't like me because I don't dress for them. I love old guys and I market myself to their tastes, as well as dance in 'their' clubs.

I tend to make more when I'm dressed trashy. I don't know why's that because I'd really prefer to wear more classy stuff. But for me, wearing a hot pink 5-dollar string bikini that looks like it's about to fall apart any time seems to make the most money.

I think it's the controlled and non-trashy way I present myself otherwise. If I'm wearing classy the men just become intimidated/want to date or marry me, but spend very little money.

I have the same issue! I make more money (some nights, any money!) in a polka dot bikini than in any of my cute, but more covering dresses. Which is sad, because I love those dresses. I think you're right about the intimidation factor

I just try to mix things up and always look different but cute. The customers know me for that now and it helps! When its slow i will do a 180 on my style. If frilly cute things don't work, i'll sport something naughty and curl my hair. Always a good thing to be a chameleon.

I always wear real lingerie and make sure all my accessories match. Accentuating my best points and covering flaws definately helps. I also think bright eye catching colors help. Whenever I wear neon orange fishnets, I bank.

I think rhinestones make girls look expensive, which can work against you at a more blue collar club. But they're great for higher tier clubs. Having a clean, well put together presentation makes customers with money want spend it, on a classy girl.

i'm a sucker for themed outfits, schoolgirl, cheerleader, maid, nurse... i got them all, i get a lot of compliments on them, and i like them cause each of them comes w/ a standard pick-up line-" nurse Saphire will make it all better", "i've been a naughty little schoolgirl"...etc., but yes, having outfits that flatter you is key, mine are always two piece, and usually push up

    Yup yup!

I can wear something sexy as hell, and very "upscale" from what you would normally see at our club, and do horrible.

But put me in a plain black bikini outfit, and a baseball hat (usually a golf hat, or a UK Wildcats hat) and I bank, just cause I am more comfy, and feel better, ya know?!

this in general works very well for me too....

i have a dark purple/charcoal color dress with a collar and splits down the side...sounds crazy, but it's just a little more interesting than the traditional tube dress.....

although, one night, i found that i wasn't getting that many dances....usually if i make a lap in 30 mins and don't get anyone, then i change....

it happened, and i changed to the tiniest bikini i have, that was in no means flattering on me....but i doubled my cash.....

so, it could've been the crowd, but i also believe that guys remember your outfit before they remember your face, so changing might change your cash flow---IMO

i think really all has to do with your confidence in what ur wearing. if you feel good in your outfit, you're gonna be confident on the floor and approach more customers ect. the night's im not so sure about my outfit (which are all the time, cuz im sooo picky) i tend to spend more time upstairs changing, then on the floor hustling. but then again, there's been some nights where i thought i looked like shit and banked...i dunno!!!...lol...i say go with what makes YOU feel hot!

I totally agree with this. It's like being an actress and dressing the part.
I have to have different outfits for stage or I get bored.

On the floor I like to stick with things that I see make guys notice me -- which usually has to do with the cut and color of the outfit. A good cut for your body shape is everything.

I think you're right. The majority of our top earners always dress very simply and wear the same thing every day. It's their attitudes/sales tactics.

This might be a dumb question but when you wear jewelry and accessories with your clothes, do you take those off too when you strip?
