This is one of my two monster aloe plants. They started off as one little aloe plant over 10 years ago and had to be devided into two as it got so big. It's like Little Shop of Horrors plant! I call them Hanz and Franz. This one is Franz

Hey, Will!
You could have named that plant "Fronds"...![]()
Holy shit...I have one little aloe plant. How do I get it THAT big???

My neighbours have one that is eating half their house. My partner and I joke that it could bring a steak back to life mooing, since aloe has healing properties.

People always ask that and I honestly dont know. Remember, I have two of them that size that started as one little plant! I do nothing special for these guys. I think people tend to over water aloes as mine only get water when they are bone dry and that can be a month without water at times, then heavy amounts of water. A little plant food once in a while, say twice per year, and re pot once every other year, and a sunny spot in the window, and thats about it.

^^^ Isn't aloe a form of cactus? Stands to reason that watering method would work well then.
Aloe is a succulent. According to these guys I am almost doing it right, but I dont alternate summer/winter watering the way they recommend:
