    Default NW IN, Chicago

I know there are some posts about Chicago-area clubs, but I'd like current information about what anyone thinks about working at the Industrial Strip in Indiana over the Chicago clubs. I've worked about a week at IS, and it's okay. Of course, the people there put down the clubs in Chicago, but it just makes sense to me that the numbers should work out better in the city. Hammond IN seems like such a dump, and sorry but the club doesn't offer what I would consider good spenders to appreciate.

I'm from Ohio, where strip clubs are in jeopardy over a new law, so I'm looking for a reasonable club (management at least minimal respect for dancers, able to take home at least $1000/wk, and overall clean environ.)
    to work at until January.

If Tart reads this, I've read your reviews of VIPs, and honestly those are what makes me think about working in the city (specifically your club). You sound very happy there.

huge money can be earned at Industrial Strip ... but not by just 'stripping'.

IMHO there are zero 'decent' clubs in NW Indiana i.e. South Bend. One of the most popular moneymakers is 'limo rides' which assure complete privacy for the dancer and customer with zero bust risk (while the limo is moving, anyhow !).

The best club that I was able to find in this neck of the woods was Pleasant Lake Resort in Edwardsburg, MI, just a few miles across the Michigan border north of South Bend. It's a tiny club, but draws lots of vacationers in the summer, and the owner is actually honest and fair. I made the most money in a single night of my entire career while working in this club.

If the review board will work for me, I'll write a new one. Because a lot of changes have happened since my last one.

I"ll see if I can update it for everyone

Personally I.S. is a bit too hardcore for my taste and I think your assumption about that area of clubs is about accurate though.

I agree with both of you about IS. I've been working day shift and staying into the night until I reach my daily goal. Even though it's an exhausting schedule, I prefer that because I've learned day shift allows me to be myself and do my own thing. I need to stay into the evening shift to earn my goal, though. I can tell that customers get a lot here because they do expect so much. Also, every time we go to the VIP, we pay $8 out of the dance. We are charged for the set of 3 even if we only do 1 song. The club assumes that we will sell 3/$55 instead of 1/$30, so I think that motivates dancers even more so to keep customers in the back.

Overall, the place doesn't feel too good to me. Compared to where I've worked (Flight Club and Scarlett's OH), the place doesn't have the quality (but it's funny because they think they do!). The management (except for Mickey) acts very high and mighty (offensively so).

Since I've found SWeb site, I've tried to get into the reviews board. I've read posts on how to get into the board, but it's never worked (I only end up feeling angry because I've wasted time trying). Thanks, though, Tart, for offering to give detailed advice. I'll try once more to get in to club reviews, but will not go through the 20min, ultimately disappointing, process of following "tricks" to get there!
