    Has Anybody Tried "The G-Shot"?

In April, Los Angeles gynecologist David Matlock licensed his 2-year-old G-spot-enhancing technology to 35 other doctors around the country to help spread the benefits of collagen injections that swell the so-called Grafenburg Spot.

A shot in the vagina? Ouch. However, if this really works in enhancing sexual pleasure then I might have to look into it. I've never experienced a g spot orgasm from having sex and that kind of sucks. It's really hard sometimes when I'm almost there but it never happens.

If you're 22 and needing plastic surgery on your thighs, then you're not trying hard enough. I'd be willing to bet the same for her g-spot.

Male doctors just love to cut and cut and slice and shoot...they don't know what the fuck is really going on half the time. I read a book where it included huge sections of horrible childbirth procedures, and there was one woman who found that she could never quite orgasm again the same way after a particular doctor just went in there and started cutting things. This is too on that level for me.

A woman on Dr. 90210 got the g-shot and she went crazy about it. She was quite pleased with the results.

I get such incredible g-spot orgasms that something like this is tempting, but I probably would never do it.

In defense of the plastic surgery industry, I'd like to say a bit. The G-shot is usually only recommended for women who have a difficult time achieving orgasms and are unsatisfied with their sex life. Around 90% of women report improvements after treatment.

We use a collagen which is safe for everyone except those who have allergic reactions. Reactions are rare and should be tested beforehand. We have safely been using trans-vaginal injections of collagen for years in other medical procedures. Therefore, it's proven safety and efficacy make it a very appealing procedure to a select group of women.

As far as the OB/GYN's, I've also seen some serious mutilations when I was a medical student. Most of the time it's chalked up to irresponsible midwives, stubborn mothers, or poorly trained OB/GYN's. What happens a lot of times is that people are dead set on having "natural births". They insist on having vaginal deliveries and so C-sections become an emergency plan only.

And of course, it's important to keep in mind that every person and every situation is different.

Could you elaborate on this please? What? Are you advocating C-Sections?

    True fact:

More C-sections are done on Wednesdays than any other day. Why? Dr.'s get off early to play golf!

Wait, I'm going to have to quote your thread again...

Most "mutilations" are the fault of the midwife or "stubborn mothers?" Are you saying that a woman can mutilate her own body during childbirth, something women have been doing for c...e...n...t...u...r...i...e...s?

I'll give you 2 examples and you can judge for yourself. The first example is a large woman with a large baby. Her and the midwive's birthplan was to have an all natural birth. No painkillers, no surgery. After 12 hours in labour and excruciating pain, the midwife finally called the OB/GYN to look. The baby was far too large to be born naturally. They quickly went into distress and without an emergency c-section, they both would have died. She had to stay in hospital for weeks because of subsequent related complications from waiting so long.

The second case is a woman also trying to give a natural birth and avoid C-sections at all costs. The woman was in excruciating pain despite an epidural. The midwife ignored the pain until the mother passed out. We rushed her to theatre for an emergency C-section and found that her uterus had ruptured. This is another case where waiting too long lead to serious complications.

You're right birth is a natural process, but it has a natural mortality rate of 50% in human beings. Thanks to modern medicine it is rare for a woman to die in birth. Western diets make babies bigger and more difficult to deliver naturally and more surgeries mean more complications. So there's a lot of things to keep in mind during this important time in a mother's life.

    Hope that clarified! Cheers.

Yea thanks, those two examples are def proper, but it just was the way yr post sounded, like c-sections should be a first consideration in all cases, instead of a last resort.

And also a problem with giving birth in a hospital is the drugs they give you--it impedes a woman's ability to PUSH. They go in, get drugged up, can't push bc they are fucked up, and then a c-section happens. It's easier for the Dr. and more money, and plus the woman is kind of helpless at that point and most feel like the Dr. knows best. People just automatically run to a hospital when it's time, instead of if it's a complete emergency like you described. No offense to you if that's not yr practice, just goin on what you said before.

    Apologies for hijacking this thread.

I'm in plastics so everything I know about OBS/GYN was from medical school. But basically, we advocated natural births for all women unless there was a good indication to have a C-sec. The most serious complications happened when we had to deal with the stubborn people (mothers, midwives, dr's, even husbands!) who refused the C-secs even when we saw the red flags.

You're right about the drugs limiting the ability for mother to push, but we also give drugs that help mother push. Whether it balances out, I can't say.

According to the OP article, a 56 year-old Southern California nurse was one of the first G-Shot recipients. She's had three more injections since then because the collagen reabsorbs into the body within four months. Dr. Matlock adds that 60 percent of his patients have returned at least once for another G-Spot Amplification at $1,850 each.

IMO, it seems like G-Spot Amplification would not only fuel female libidos but might also stroke male egos. After all, tales about triggering the proverbial "gusher" of G-Spot legend represent testimonies to male sexual prowess . It makes one wonder how many collagen-fueled "cock tales" will be circulating a few years from now...
