More and more legislation is stripping away the common law rules of law.
Recently a suspected terrorist in Australia was held without charge for much longer than he should have been. These common law rules need to be kept in place and not abrogated by legislation.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Wait, tootsie, it just got even better over the past weekend...

Congress authorizes vast expansion of domestic spying
"The 227-183 vote in the Democratic-controlled House capped a weeklong campaign by the Bush administration to push through changes in laws governing wiretapping surveillance, in which Bush officials branded any legislators opposed to the revisions as 'soft on terror'...The only concession made by Bush officials was a provision that allows the legislation to be reconsidered in six months.”

And people will STILL defend him. Un-fucking-believable. Conservative Middle America needs a collective crack in the god-damned skull.

actually anyone who still defends him probably already has a crack in their skull. His approval rating is right around 30% these days which is roughly the % of the USA population that is said to suffer mental illness on some level
