    Default Sexual Orientation and Stripping

I've noticed an interesting trend. Remember how popular it used to be to tell customers you were bi? They'd get all hot and bothered and want you to tell them sex stories, etc... Well, I've noticed that more and more guys seem to like straight girls. Since I really AM bi, I feel on edge whenever sexual orientation comes up. I hear, "You're not bi, are you?" a lot (as a negative question). Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder why this is...

I think it became the "in" thing for girls to say - both in and out of the club. So being bi got associated with ass-kissing or indecisiveness. Plus, with all of the straight girls noshing on each other in public to get male attention, it's a bit done.

The label doesn't seem to be as important. You've got an Ani quote - think of "In or Out".

I also think guys don't want to worry about being unable to satisfy their girl sexually, so it can be hard for them to deal with. Even on a fantasy level.

It seems strange to me that a sexual orientation can go out of fashion, but I think that that's all it is. But that's just my 2 cents.

I don't mind a bit of the old girl-on-girl mesell, as long as the other one likes it. I don't like to go down on a dry mouses hammock if you catch my glide?

Well this is a very interesting topic for me, as I'm actaully a transexual stripper.

When I tell my clients that I am straight, they dont belive me. I dont know how to convince them that I am!

Bisexuals have become a bit annoying to the mainstream lately, due to all the trendsexuals claiming bisexuality for attention. It does get annoying for those of us who genuinely like women and men, but what the hey, I don't really care what anyone thinks of my sexual preferences.

Exactly & Amen^^^ I also think some people understandably equate those said "trendsexuals" with promiscuity, and other reckless behavior.

I get a lot of "No, I don't like to share." or "I like to have all the attention." (That's after asking about two girl shows)
And when the subject comes around and they ask me if I am bi, upon hearing yes the very next question is ALWAYS "Well, which do you like better?" And from body language to tone, it's not a posotive thing coming from them.

I've certainly noticed a change, but there's nothing I can do about being bi, it is what it is.

And Jayda I completely agree, I think with everything that has changed in media and day to day life and other things*coughgirlsgonewildcough* that being bi has become a flag for promiscuous behaviour, bad girls even.

I took the cues from the way they asked and body language. If they were negative, I said I wasn't bi. If they asked with their tongue hanging out of their mouth, it was a big yes. Customers don't own our sexuality, so tell them when they want to hear.

Yes, I have noticed this. You know what actually works for me..telling customers that I AM NOT into women, but that I would much rather have a man anyday. That seems to put them at ease. It's funny, the ones with the most money would much rather I only like men. Where as the wild/crazy drunk guys want freaky girls.

^Yes, I've found that it's just all around safer to say I'm straight. Sometimes they see me checking out a co-worker and question me again... Then I just say that I appreicate the beauty of the female body but that I am indeed straight... I must havez da cock!!

Yea, it's been around soooo long, and sorry but girls who do this routinely IRL are the CRAZY ones! (I also noticed it was every single goth person in hs...'cept me) so the men have all had "crazy ex gf's" that they might associate that with.

Well, I've only been working about a month, and I've never actually had a customer ask me about my sexual orientation. However, we do girl on girl stage sets at my club during bachelor parties and our nightly oil wrestling match, and we make buttloads of money on those. Seriously...tons. An oil wrestling match will sometimes double my earnings for the night. I do wonder whether the customers actually think we're lesbians or know we are just putting on a show for them.

I have noticed this too being asked in the negative "you're not bi are you?".
I dont know what the problem is. I think guys get sick of the whole fake shows put on between girls in strip clubs where they pretend to go down on eachother but it'shidden under their hair and most guys know it's BS.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Holy Crap! I was just thinking this. I don't think telling them you're bi or gay is turning them on anymore. I think it's like telling them you had many lovers, something no guy gets turned on about in a women. Men want to feel important, that they are the only ones. Now since media shows open, casual, sexual relationships as almost being natural, then maybe more men are turning to monogamy to feel better about themselves and thier relationships with women. This is an interesting turn I'm noticing and am begining to keep my relationships with women a secret to men I date and dance for.

Well, maybe it had become so common to be fake bisexual to be cool that most guys have dated at least one girl like this. And from what I've seen in my life, girls that fake being bisexual to be cool have loads of emotional issues, and be all around attention whores. (Ok I went to normal hs, then alternative hs, seen it at the YMCA, seen it at camp, work, in and out of sc's...yea) So maybe a lot of guys have had a bad experience by now with a fake bisexual, and maybe it wasn't exactly the fake bisexual part...

Eh kind of a hs sounding theory, lol

Whenever I tell a custy I'm interested in girls, they go on and on and on badgering me for all sorts of stupid details and stories about girl-on-girl sex. For free, of course. They seriously think I'm going to sit there and talk on in great detail about all the things I've done or would like to do to a girl...while they sit there grinning and not spending a damn thing. Um, fuck that. I'm not giving you verbal wank material for free.

Guys ask me all the time if I am bi, but I think that's because I will often compliment another dancer, and genuinely enjoy the show along with them. I just tell them that I had sex with a girl one time and it was an amazing experience, but I don't think I am bi. It's nearly the truth, and guys seem to be intrigued by it, but not pry after that.

In general, I think guys are unimpressed with the over-enthusiastic fake bi-ness in strip clubs. I danced with a girl that would point to me and yell, "that's my girlfriend!!" Ugh. I'd feel obliged to play along. It was usually part of the hustle though. If it wasn't for the money we made hustling together at times, I would have wanted to clobber her. It's old.
