I have terrible circulation. Does anybody know of some natural remedies, or vasodilators/antihypertensives other than grapefruit juice? I am already getting grapefruit juice at the store tomorrow...

There is a tea I use to help me with circulation..It's either Ginger or Detox tea, I get them confused..I have to go to Whole Foods to pick some up, I'll post the name when I get back.

Red wine ; grape juice ; grape seed extract ; pycnogenol ; fish oil ( Omega 3 & 6 ), Vitamin E- 1000 units a day, ginko biloba and niacin all help promote better circulation.
Exercise vigorously 3 or 4 times a week.
Meditate and focus on breathing and opening up your blood vessels - relax and focus on "seeing" them dilate and open up from the tips of your toes to the tips of your fingers. With practice you literally feel warmer.
A quick test. Squeeze your fingertip for a few seconds with two other fingers. It should go from pale back to pink in LESS than a second.

It's Yogi Tea Ginger Formula, Hawthorn ( an herb) is also great for circulation.

Thank you both for your excellent tips. Eric- I did an extra "vigorous" workout today because of your suggestion and I bet you're right. I haven't been exercising as much as usual lately and maybe I am missing the benefits...
Also I do drink red wine, don't drink grape juice but I eat raisins almost every day, take a multivitamin, and I am going to do more research about the vitamin E. THANKS AGAIN!!! I really appreciate it!
Vitamin C is the most basic one I know of.

Ginseng is supposed to be good for your circulation. There's several other Chinese medicines for circulation although I can't name them you could go to a Chinese herb shop and they'd set you up. I saw some supplements in Walmart called VeinHealth (or something like that) although I'm not sure if it works.
The key question is WHY is your circulation less than optimal ? There are a myriad of problems from high cholesterol , low blood pressure ( Yes, in some cases it can be too low ) bad heart valves , rheumatic fever etc.etc.
Do you have hypertension ? If YES then you want to take garlic capsules ( you'd have to eat a pound of garlic to get the same effect ) vitamin C , grape seed extract and plenty of bioflavinoids- the white part of oranges and grapefruit are loaded with them. So eat the whole orange or grapefruit except for the rind.
