    Default Stripperness?

Yes, I made up that word just now. You can't steal it!

Okay, so I'm at Trader Joe's today, stocking up on my wine collection. I'm really picky about my white's so I'm going for the $14 bottles (KJ) when this guy (late 50's or so) recommends a bottle that's about $4 and says it's really good and how his wife used to only drink KJ but that she really likes this other stuff (it was called Blue Fin). So, I'm into wine and really interested and I ask him questions (maybe two). Then, he runs off! By run, I mean, walks really fast.

Wtf? I wasn't flirting, I really gave a shit about the wine! I'll bet I came across as flirting. Gah, this happens to me all the time (well, except that they do the opposite of run off...)! I know I'm not the only stripper who comes across as flirtatious in normal day life. It's always been hard get it across to guys that I'm just being friendly... and that's all.

This happens to me all the time. It actually makes me feel a little sheepish afterwards because I think, Oh my gosh that guy totally thinks I was hitting on him. I never am, though, I just forget where I am. Bad stripper. They should be paying me for that flirty chit chat.

Just hang out with me. When I buy lingerie I loudly ask my friends if they think my nipples would show through and if that was hot enough for work. *headdesk* I forget how loud I talk sometimes and people give me weird looks when I suddenly perk up and go, "Oh! A sex shop! I need more work clothes!!"

Ahaha I was in the sex shop a few weeks ago talking about how I needed a new dildo for stage...

Or when Jenny, Molly and myself were on the plane to Thunder Bay we were loudly talking about sex and lap dances... im surprised we never got kicked off...

Or then I was on the train and this guy goes 'anyone sitting here?' and I go 'well apparently you are now but no molesting me in my sleep and warning I do bite'

Hahaha, Cally I would die to hear you say that to a guy on a train! Yes!

Yep, I do it too, and it's even stranger because usually my man is around when it happens an he'll have to subtly whisper "Honey, your stripper is showing."

Yeah...I have this problem, too. I don't even realize I do it. LOL! My family and I went to go eat chinese food last week and I had bought my mom some new bras from Victoria's Secret. While we were paying our bill, I looked at her boobs and shouted, "Is that one of the new bras I bought you!? Lemme see it now! Your boobs look so perky, Mommy!" I was reaching for the straps under her shirt, gawking at her boobs and everything. She got really embarassed and was pushing my hands away telling me to stop it....hehe. I don't know if that's the stripper in me or the VS sales rep in me. Probably both.

eh. i'm not flirty at all, i don't think. but i'm beyond open talking dirty with friends, and i think it gives people the wrong idea. not usually my friends, but i think new people i meet think i'm about a bajillion times sluttier than i really am.

Wow, I can't WAIT for that to happen to me! I would have just ignored him even if I wanted the wine. That's cute actually. I'll have to try that next time some random dude comes up and wants to "chat". Just start RUNNING. lmfao. No really, every time I consider that, the next one always seems nice and genuine, and then whaddya know, I have a great rack, btw is how it will end.
I know what you mean tho.

^^ God, one time I found this kitty and I was sitting on the stoops playing with it, wondering where he came from. Dude comes up, "Wow, look at him!!!" Me: "Does he live here? Trying to figure it out where he came from. Dude proceeds with honest input and conversation about the cat and he hopes he finds his home. Walks away. Starts walking back. "Hey, how bout a DATE?" and he flashes a GRILL and some gold teeth way behind. Ugly ass pock marked ghetto asshole. That was a corrupting moment among several million. And of course the ice cream truck guy when I was 12

So Bella, I came back to this thread to ask you if you ever wound up buying the wine and your review?
