Post Which is the lesser of two evils here?

This thought has lingered in my dome for quite sometime now, i want to know which one you guys would roll with.

Option 1 : You are super wealthy with an unlimited bank account, endless resources and connections, but you are confined to a wheel chair.

Option 2 : You are perfectly healthy and not handicap, but have low income and struggle to pay the bills and/or keep above water. Also you will never become wealthy in your entire lifetime.

    A: I would go with option b.

    *Which one gets your pick?*

Well, "Wealth" is relative. But really? I'd make the best of either situation.

Option 1: I would totally pimp my ride.

Option 2: I'd work my ass off. I enjoy the struggle. I'm also certifiably insane.

Just out of curiosity, with option 2 are you guaranteed to have your health for life? Like would you be immune from getting any kind of illnesses or disease and would you be accident proof? If so, i'd go with option 2. If not, i pick option 1.

As I am currently living in option 2, I would choose option 1 for a change of pace. Wheelchairs aren't that bad, you can still live a good life in a wheelchair. But Lord I am fucking tired of being broke.

I'd like to be super wealthy in a wheelchair just so I could act like the Big Lebowski. You know I would, too.

Why wouldn't you invest in researching and/or improving existing technologies for 'fake legs' if you were Option 1? This way not only do you benefit, so will others.

At the same time, it isn't that much of a bit to be in a wheelchair these days.

    OPTION 1

As like most humans I would learn to adapt to my circumstances. Being constantly poor yet healthy is no fun.

Plus being in a wheelchair doesn't mean I will have ill health for the rest of my life.

You are still alive even if you are 'stuck' in a wheelchair for life.

So the people picking option 1 think an accident that left them a paraplegic but swimming in insurance money would be a good thing? I can't see that.

I'm in option 2 right now as well, and well, I'm working through it, and I'm okay with it. It's keeping me close to my family. I think if I were rich, doesn't matter about a wheelchair, I might be run over by high power other rich people, because I'm stupid and believe people too much. So I'd be broke again anyway Might as well learn to be happy where I am!

    Number one all the way.

I'd build a damn cyber suit and pimp out like Iron Man and have the time of my life.
Guy #1: I'd totally hit that.
Guy #2: Dude, I'd hit that so hard whoever could pull me out would become the King of England.

^^ IronMan was always my favorite Superhero. All the power and ability of Batman (HATE making that reference, but Batman is more familiar) but he's a drunk.

One of my favorite comics is when IronMan and the Avengers are fighting and mid fight Cap notices some shit coming out of IronMan's mouth piece. Tony Stark, was drunk, as IronMan, and threw up. Cap beat the living PISS out of him.

    Definatly option one.

An ex-boyfriend of mine had an ex-wife who was a paraplegic. She was a horny little thing. Just because you don't have movement of your legs doesn't mean you don't have feeling in your crotch. They are different types of nerve endings. She was definatly a party girl and loved dropping acid and having orgies. She came from a rich family and was also exceptionally smart and very pretty. She loved to travel in the US and around the globe, could drive a car, and was probably more physically fit than most Americans with two working legs. (Let's face it, too many people who have perfectly working legs often don't use them and just sit on their couch eating cheetos.) She was very athletic and did wheelchair racing and basketball.

So people in wheelchairs, especially now a days, can have just as fufilling of a life as anyone else. There is little that they can't do, besides walk, which is something most people don't do anyways. And with money there is just so much more you CAN do. Option 1 all the way.
