No way! What are the chances of that? (well obviously pretty good for Danny Anderson)

Here's another guy bitten by a rattlesnake on his palm. The venom was spreading up his arm very quickly, so they had to operate. WARNING: very graphic !

I first encountered the dangers of a snakes head when I was quite young. A small rattler got beheaded in my friends garage, I was maybe 7 at the time. I could not believe its head was still moving. Luckily for me adults made sure I knew it was still dangerous and not to go near it.
I've come a long way since I believed in anything, and I've come half way around the world.

Where you come from is gone.
Where you thought you were going to was never there,
and where you are, ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

From what article said, he reached under car & PICKED it up ?
I mean, why would you do that? If you desparately needed a severed snake head, wouldn't you want to wait, just to be sure?

Perhaps if he had simply moved the snake to another part of his ranch (or even 20 feet away) and continued on with his day, no one would have been harmed. Just a thought.

Yep. I thought I was nuts (&, I was) for trying to down a yellow jackets' nest. After a double sting, I think I'll leave the damn things alone, & stay outta their way..
