Default Awkward run into's at clubs

I'm not sure if anyone has posted something like this, i'm just kind of bored and thought of this to post. So go ahead, tell your awkward run into's at work, such as your boss, co worker, family member, anything. I have been pretty lucky on this one except for when I was dancing at an all nude club when I first started dancing, an old kind of friend from school came in, I don't know how he recognized me but he did, I was embarrassed but said hey and talked to him, it ended up being pretty cool in the end though. The worst time wasn't in a club, this was when I was waitressing and a girl I was kind of friends with at a club came into my restaurant and got a little too tipsy, well she ended up telling the bartender where she knew me from and within the next couple of days the whole place knew, I was like I DID NOT want that out, it was just awkward, especially when my co workers would come up to me and ask me why I did it for.

On my first night dancing at a club in my home town, my unkle and his baseball team came into the club. I reconized him and ran and got dressed and slipped out the bars back door. Then on my second night at the club, I was table dancing for a guy and who do I see sitting with their back to me watching the stage my dad and another unkle that was in town visiting from out of state. I was mortified and repeated sneaking out the back door of the club. I was lucky no one notice me.

LOL it really used to freak me out, but it doesn't really anymore. I have found that it's much more effective if you just pretend like you don't know them at all, and go ask them for a dance just like normal. Then when they are all like, "wait, aren't you..." you can just act confused and say "no! I'm just here visiting from (some other state, country etc)." Then laugh quietly to yourself when the start blathering about "you look JUST like this girl!"

Granted this doesn't work if it's a family member or someone you know/knew well, but it works like a charm for people you went to school with, used to work with, etc a long time ago that might not even remember your name, much less be completely sure about what you look like.

This why I drive an hour to work. I had this happen when I danced in NJ-not family, but people from school and thereabouts. I even had a guy stop me in the grocery and ask if he'd just seen me at the sc! Too nervewracking.

Now I tell people I work in north NJ if they find out and are pains about it, so they can drive around for hours, if they are so inclined.

Former colleauge from a tech job I had. We were both shocked as shit, but we had casual friends when I had worked there. He was totally cool, and got a TON of dances from me, my friend, and both of us together. It was his pre-bachelor party celebration.

They came back that weekend for the official bach. party and apparently got dances from my friend ALL night. Total gentlemen too. I didn't come to work that day like a dumbass, even though he specifically requested me beforehand. Doh!

A TA who taught at my high school... I never had him as a teacher but he helped coach one of the teams I was on. I promised not to tell anyone I saw him there if he promised not to tell anyone he saw me there. Then he got a lap dance.

I used to have a 9-5 gig at a major bank. One day while I'm on stage I notice the second in command of corporate security for the area. Everyone at the bank knew him cause he was HOT. I couldn't get off stage so I just walked over to him and said:
    "Am I fired?"
He said "I've never seen you".
And thus started our friendship. All the women in my office wondered why he would stop by and talk to me, I told them we ran into each other at a bar.

My boss from my "real Job" which is bartending. He was getting dances from another girl and he told her to tell me he didnt care about me dancing. He never mentioned it at work and neither did I. However, it was very awkward for a few weeks and the day after it happened I forced my boyfriend to come to work with me and stay all day so he couldnt confront me if he was planning to.
However, the night he saw me, I had a full on panic attack and crying fit in the dressing room, a la crazy stripper. I'm actually more embarrassed about that.

i've had people from high school and college come in and see me dance. even one of the teachers from my high school has come in. i was so shocked but he was so cool. he remembered me from then and said wow you've really grown up--lol. i think my most embarrassing moment was when i was hanging topless upside down on the pole and a couple of the guys i was in college marching band with walked in. i wanted out of there so quick. they never mentioned it though.

my best moment when someone i knew walked in was a guy i knew from college who had last seen me dance when i had just started. he had had a crush on me but it got too uncomfortable so i blew him off. he happened to come into the club earlier this year (i had been dancing almost 5 years at that point). i put on one of my sexiest outfits and danced my little heart out just to get his attention of what he missed. well he sure noticed and asked one of the girls if that was me. i wanted to show him what he was missing and would never get. i know it was mean but i'm glad i did it.

i've never had family come in and hope i never do.

-Former college professor was a regular where I danced. We politely ignored each other for months, and then he broke the ice by finally tipping me on stage. He never bought a dance, but he was nice to talk to once we started chatting.

-Former student of mine. Was shocked I'd remembered his name. He was actually hott. It was actually a cool experience for both of us.

-And... the guy who sold me my car. Awkward because I put down on my loan application that I was a book seller. Which I am. But... I don't make shit doing that. He tips me a dollar on stage, and says, "remember me?" I say, "yep, You're Mike, and....I don't really sell books." We had a good laugh. Except he turned into a really big asshole, telling me how I would make so much more money selling cars and that I was making peanuts per hour compared to what he made selling cars. Yeah, thanks, dude. I just had my pussy in your face --for PEANUTS. He couldn't get it through his head that i LIKE MY JOB!! I don't want to walk around on a hot car lot in the Florida summer trying to sell cars. Fuck you, dude.

I know that if any of the people who were assholes to me in highschool saw me dancing everyone with a myspace account would know within 24 hours. I was talking to my best childhood friend about this the other day and we both agreed it would be the most awful thing that could occur.

I had a couple of guys from my college come into my club and tip me which was no big deal. The best was when a former co-worker of mine from a swanky, posh spa I was fired from came in the club. We were both shocked to see eachother but we had a very nice chat and he even bought a dance!

i started dancing my senior year of high school, and my 2nd day there the whole baseball team came in, I thought I was slick and that they didn't see me since I slinked away when I noticed them. But nope-they did. It was all over my Hs the next day....
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?
