    Default Permanent make up?

I'm thinking of getting my brows permanently shaded in (just a little) and maybe my lips a flushed pink color.

Have any of you had experience with this?

I used to perform permanent cosmetics, and I've had it done.

What the girls said about getting the right color match is SO important! And make sure you see many of the people's faces your tech has done. Many women came to our clinic from another with red and orange eyebrows! Eeek!

I have had my eye liner and my lips filled in. I loved the eye liner and the lips were nice, except when I would get flushed or work out, the color would brighten dramatically!

My mom had her brows done and I thought they looked great! If I were to do any of the procedures over again, I'd get my eyeliner done again for sure, and if I could find a more nude shade I'd do my lips too.

My mother in law has her eyeliner and brows look done and she always looks amazing. Even just waking up she still looks so much better.

I've had my lip liner tatooed, it looks great and at work i just wear gloss and don't have to worry about smudging or faded lipliner. Just do some research cos i have heard horror stories too!

I would like the eyeliner. Is it possible to get a thin liner look done and then put more liner over it some nights if needed? How does that look? I liek dramatic eyeliner at night but would love a thin permanent line for the day.

^^^ Yes... I actually had my permanent MUA "tightline" my upper lashline (she inked in the base of my lashes only so my eyes are defined but don't look lined and my lashes look fuller) and I just add a little more eyeliner above my lashes when I want...

My brows and upper lashline were permanently enhanced about 2 years ago... I have pics of them in this thread

That looks great! You have thin eyebrows like I do, I'm happy to see it turned out so nicely!

^^^ depending on the person and the ink used, touchups need to be done every 3-7 years.

In regards to pain, it's not a pleasant procedure at all. My gal uses a topical numbing agent which cuts down on your sensitivity but you can still feel a little pinching. It's really more annoying than painful, IMO...
