Im very neat. I would rather keep up with things than have to take a day to clean everything thorougly.
Now sometimes if i am particularly stressed, i let things go...if that happens i am able to pick back up in a few days and get it all done in one shot.

Now it feels like cleaning is my freaken job and i hate it! My fiance just bought a new home that was built the end of last year, we are the first people to ever live here. So when he moved in everything was spotless and since I don't work, thats how he thinks i should keep it. And i would LOVE to be a super wife and be obsessed with cleaning and whatnot, but i simply am not. So it takes a lot of effort and self rewards to get things done. Tuesday and Wednesday are my cleaning days and usually i can't even pry myself off the computer to get started until after 12 noon. When ever i do anything significant as soon as he gets home from work i grab his hand and walk him around and show him everything i did so he can praise me and tell me how awesome I am. Wow reading that is kinda embarrassing
    Hehe. Me too!

Since I'm not dancing anymore, and I work from home via my computer, my husband has pretty much let me take over keeping the house clean. (how kind of him)

Now that our house is for sale, it needs to stay spotless all the time in case someone wants to see it. I swear to god, this is the last time I sell a house while I'm living in the damn thing! I feel like I am constantly detailing every little thing, every crumb on the counter needs to be immediately removed, every dirty towel needs to be placed in the laundry, every leaf raked daily...

Fucking crappy real estate market is making my life miserable!

    That sounds super stressful.
I have to do a wedding and a baby registry and i'm trying to figure out which one would be more appropriate to ask for a maid.

I'm not a lazy person in general, but when it comes to being neat & tidy...yes, very very lazy.

I swing between lazy phases and very motivated phases, espescially when it comes to housework. Either obsessivley neat or there's dishes in the sink that have been rinsed, but yet to be put away..yeah that's gross.
A way of combatting laziness is by habit. I don't know how much truth there is to this, but they say that it takes doing something 7 times, in order to make it a habit. It has become my habit to get up at a horrible, traumaztizing hour for work, but it is a habit that has helped squelch (some of) my laziness.

I was almost too lazy to reply to this thread. I'm lazy when it comes to certain things though. Packing my stuff, washing my car, cleaning my sink, etc., things that are important and need to be done. I'll put things off but will eventually get around to them. I like to keep my things organized, not perfectly tidy, but I really can't stand messy.
