LatinaRose's post about booties inspired me. I'm working on ideas for my fall wardrobe right now. What are your top 5 (or 10 if you're so inspired!) must-haves for fall? I'll post later too!

I'll post pics later. But i'm looking forward to:
1. High waist-wide leg jeans. I'm so loving these right now
2. Knitted tops
3. Wool/crochet stockings... these will look so good with any shoe that has an opening.
4. A classic wool coat that will go with everything and keep me very warm. I need one, threw all of my coats out. I just want one now.
5. Clunky shoes/boots, laced up booties, and sexy patend leather peep toes
6. Cincher belts <3
7. Nice evening clutch and an everyday tote bag. Again, threw a lot of shit out. lol
8. Long leather gloves
Is it X-mas yet? lol
GREY is the color for fall this year. You can mix and match shades of it too.
WIDE-LEG jeans and HIGH-WAIST jeans. (the ones that ride low on your hips are out)
TUNICS or at least longer shirts/sweaters with LEGGINGS. (I got some Splendid ones for fall. They are so soft.)
SWEATER COATS (Vince makes some beautiful ones that you can belt on the outside, Joie has some pretty cashmere ones this year. I am a sweater freak, so forgive me. I don't even live in the right temperature for it.)
PURPLE is also big this fall, and that's what I'm looking for....a plum or violet sweater and/or dress.
I noticed that SWEATER DRESSES are around this year too. Hmmmm....
No booties for me though. Or those Chanel-looking bags that are quilted. I just can't get into that. Ick.
1. Stirrup leggings
2. Acid wash jeans ..but I've already bought every color I want except the pink ones
3. Everything day glo!!!
4. Big comfy cozy sweaters
5. More shit with unicorns on it
6. LA gear and BK hightops.. with hot pink and purple laces
Wow. Can you believe that I forgot about those brands until now? That just brought back some memories.6. LA gear and BK hightops.. with hot pink and purple laces
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily
Mmm, yes SWEATER COATS are perfect for fall.
Love the BOOTIES and PATENT is still hot. I really like these Dior ones, but I'm wondering if they're borderline ugly.
Love GRAY as well.
Went surfing around on InStyle.com...these are the ones I like.
Mmmm, stiletto OXFORDS...only $125 from Just Sweet on Amazon.com! Love them!
ART DECO style jewelry...
Their site is going really slow right now, I might post more later.
I'm really wanting some booties or maybe some boots too. That's all I seem to think about now is shoes lately. I like those Dior ones. No, I don't think they are ugly.
Wool knit circle skirts and any sweater dresses that look good on me.
A really awesome pair (or two) of black/brown fuck-me boots.

(Also something with a high heel but with a blunt toe).
I sort of do my own style thing... I'm sure that isn't really in fashion, *hides*
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

For clothes. I love going to Daffy's or Century 21, but esp. Daffy's. I sware with 100 bucks I come out of there with lots of hot shit.
I'm not sure if fashion here is the same as it would be for most of you guys, considering our seasons are opposite, but I really don't like winter fashion at the moment.
As much as this high-waisted business is in fashion, I absolutely cannot stand it. It's not sexy, and it's unbelievably unflattering on my figure. All these highwaisted skirts/jeans/shorts make me look as wide as a fucking house.
It's been a winter of jeans, hoodies & skate shoes for me
And I've not seen much from the latest upcoming Spring looks that I've liked either... Bleh.

charcoal grey wool coat.
that kinda thing.
ick.
there's some more.
Lawd have mercy. I can't believe people go along with this kind of thing because it's supposedly "in-style." It almost seems like a joke. Those look exactly like the mom jeans they made fun of on SNL.
Maybe I'm boring, but I stay with almost the exact same style year after year. I wear black shirts, boot-cut jeans, and boots or heavy shoes. Last year I branched out and bought some white and cream shirts and sweaters. I have a couple of gorgeous leather jackets for fall and a wool coat for winter and of course I do add in little changes here and there. It might sound plain, but I find that it flatters my body and I feel good in it.
Check out my new eBay auctions.......
I've seen a cpl high waists that looked good...kind of a corset top look. But those pics Darcy posted are HIDEOUS. Misha looks fat and dumpy in them.
Honestly...I dont follow trends much. I just wear what I like.
This one isnt bad....but it has to be pants...not jeans...

Eh, I just googled "high waisted jeans" and those were the first pics that came up.
OH!!! MY EYES! MY EYES!!!!
Seriously, those are the most hideous things I've seen in a long time. I will never embarass myself by wearing something that ugly just to be trendy. I prefer the more moderate high-waisted pants that hit right at or below the belly button they don't ride super low on your hips, but don't look like Mom jeans either.

Mom jeans are horrible, lol.
I also never liked the ballerina flats(round in the front), those are fugs. And should only be worn by kids.
Only flats I like are some what pointy, an open toed, or small tiny heel or wedge.
I don't the denim high-waisted pants at all. They look too much like mom jeans. Some of the high-waisted pants aren't too bad tho.
I have to confess to liking these:

Ugh, I can't do the high waisted pants, they always fit me wrong and my stomach hurts wearing them. I like the stiletto saddle shoes though!
I believe you Dottie and you have my support

Article: The Top 20 Wide-Legged Jeans & Pants to Help Get a Leg up
While skinny jeans have always sounded like a great idea, they are simply not for all body types. If you're too non-Kate Moss, the silhouette can be less than flattering by emphasizingjust what you don't want emphasized.
The antidote, however, is the elegant wide leg pant. These pants not only demand the wearer to slip into heels, which make any fashionista look more toweringly fabulous - always in fashion! - they also encourage the wearing of more dressy, ladylike tops, jewelry & accessories...all of which add up to an overall picture of timeless, effortless chic.
