Default Had my BA consult (those in the know please read)

I would really appreciate some opinions from those who know a bit about BA.

I had my consult and my surgeon recommends the following:

    - 280CC's in my left (smaller breast) and 250CC's in my right breast.

    - Behind the muscle because he said I dont have enough breast tissue for overs.

    - anatomical (tear drop) shape cohesive gel implants

    - he said this will take me to about a C to a mid size C cup breast.

I am 5"0 and 101 lbs and he thinks any bigger will look very out of proportion on my body.

He wants to do the incision under the fold of the breast but that will leave scarring. He said after 15 years of doing BA's that is the best place to insert the implant in to get it in the correct position. I am a bit concerned about the scar it would leave coz of dancing.

Oh my breasts are not very big, the left one is substantially smaller than the right and sits higher up so he said he is doing soemthing abotu that as well - i forget what he called that.

    Advise please!!

I think teardrops would be a mistake given the amount of pole and exercise you do and the fact that rotation is an issue. I would say theres no rush - wanting to have two procedures because of only one anesthetic isnt a really good reason to get something that isnt your first choice.

    You have a gorgeous body!

Anyway, i'm the same size as you. 5'0 and I got salines that brought me up to a mid C. That size is perfect. It's big enough, but still look natural.

For Cohesives, i'd do under crease insions. Plus most of them fade in time and are barely noticeable. If that's your concern. Use pure 100% cold presses Shea butter and Vit. E.

I'm confused...hes putting LESS in the smaller breast? It should be the other way around to even them out..

I asked my dr about teardrops and he said that since normal rounds settle into a teardrop shape...teardrop implants would sag too much. It may be differant with co-gels though.

I hate the crease incision. I've never seen one where you couldnt see the scar. Mine are on the areola and you have to know they are there to see them. I would be EXTREMELY self concious dancing with a visible crease insision...but thats just my opinion. I'll try to find a close up shot so you can see the scar...

I guess now that you pointed them out I can see, but it still just looks like part of your breast. They look great.

Have you thought about increasing ccs? Like something in the 300 range?

You have a beautiful athletic body, I don't think going a bit bigger would look out of proportion. Just be aware that "boobie greed" tends to sink in once they've settled.

    go on more consults.

    1 is not enough.

and I agree about the c rease incision being too noticible, esp. b/c the man is looking up at you.

i have an areola inscision as well.

and every doc will say something different, and they'll all say there way is the best. they'd do it dofferent if they didn'ty think so! l0l.

i went on my first consult today too!
actually, sounds very similar to yours in terms of placement, incision, etc.
i am planning on going on 2 more consults though. the doctor i met with today said i was borderline for a lift on my left side, (which i already knew), but i want to avoid that as much as possible.

sorry, not much advice, just saying your should prob go to a few more consults, just to make sure?

I don't have implants myself but I think with your athletic body the more natural ones would compliment you the most.

I have the crease incision, the scars were red at first, but now you can't even see them. I agree with going on more consults, and picking the dr you're most comfortable with.

I also have the crease incision. It was very red and noticeable at first, but now you can't even tell where it was.

Likewow is right on the money, if you want natural boobs, then what the doc is telling you is correct it seems, so you need to know what look you want.

And yes, more consults! Make sure you have explored every option before you settle.

EE I'm so glad to hear your crease scar faded! Mine is still red and visible, but I'm only 2 months out. A custy actually asked why I had "bruises" under my boobs. My crease scars aren't that visible because they are under a large breast, but when I lift my arms it shows. I'm hoping the marks will fade in time as well.

Jaizaine, Wow hot body! If I were you you might want to re-think the crease incision for that sized implant. I dont think it will be large enough to overhang and have your boobs shadow the scar. Unlike salines, a silicone implant is full when its installed so the doctor has to cut a bigger opening to put it in. This means a bigger, more visible scar. Hopefully it fades, but what if it doesnt?

Also, ever since my BA I have not been as good at pole. It feels weird, and gives a squeezing sensation on my partial unders. I don't know if I will ever be quite as strong on the pole ever again. I know it is possible, because Alena does it somehow, but that may not be the case for everyone. Just something to consider, and possibly discuss with your surgeon.

I have always seen faded crease scars... but I have never seen a nipple implant I couldn't see. Not once. It's always raised around the edges and you can always see the bumps. Normal nipples don't have a white circle around them, or a raised bit. And with crease incision, the size of the implant will 'fold over' the incision and make it so it's covered anyway.

I don't have much to add but... wow, your body looks quite a bit like mine... I'm curious to see how your BA turns out!

A woman at my work has gummies, and damn they feel natural! I wouldn't go any bigger, either. Good luck!

Hey ladies thanks so much for all the great advise i knew i could count on that here.

I made a mistake tho, I meant the bigger implant in the smaller breast! haha yeah that didnt make sense.
I actually think maybe 300cc would be better but def no bigger.
I dont understand why he uses the tear drop but his before and after pics looked amazing.

I am going to go for another consult because you are all right it's best to get more than one opinion.

I want natural looking fake ones. He said if i went for overs i would risk that Victoria Beckham look coz my chest area is a little bony.

Teardrop implants are good for 'normal' women. Not women who hang off poles and fondle their boobs all day. :/

My implants are under the muscle, round, saline, and they went in through the armpit. I also went from a size "nearly B" to a medium size D, and Im 5'4" 130 lbs. You cant even see the scars under my arms! I think that the doc. called that a "Transaxillary Incision". Just something else to consider...

I'm also a fan of the "armpit incision" I think it's probably the least noticeable.....and it can be done with cohesive gel (gummi bear) implants....you just need to find a ridiculously experienced surgeon. Cameron's scars are *so* minimal....so if you don't scar up badly, the peri-areolar incision might do just fine for you. I would personally be worried about that, because I tend to get keloid scars......my boobs are natural right now; 32d though, so I don't think they'll stay natural for too long, lol! I also thik Under the muscle placement is the best idea.....capsular contraction is less likely (by far) and the look is certainly more natural......though healing time goes up (and every time you must do maintenance, same deal), I think it's probably worth it.

^I asked my Dr about the armpit incision and he said they are much more likely to keloid. So if you are prone to that...it may not be the best choice.
