Default How in touch are you with your body?

I was just thinking today about how "in tune" I am with my body, cycle and such. For example I notice every month when I ovulate (mucus changes, slight cramping, hornyness) to when I start to have premenstrual syndrome (mood changes, cravings, breast tenderness). I notice how my body has changed over the years and become more shapely. Of course, unfornuately, I also notice slight aging as well with my eyelids, breast perkiness, a few fine lines and grey hair . Are there any others out there with a keen body awareness as well?

Yes, I'm totally intuned with my body ! I love being able to know exactly what my needs are. Its funny that if I don't know something I'll see run into someone at the right time and they'll help me find whatever my body is lacking.
Vitamin C, essential oils and sweat will take care of the fine lines. As far as the grey hair Vitamin B2 riboflavin is good for that. http://www.anyvitamins.com/vitamin-b...lavin-info.htm
Some greying genetic, I've had greys since I was a kid. My hair was so blonde that they were hard to detect.

stupidly so. i still can't understand how women can't know what's going on with them i.e ovulation, pms, allergy etc.

so important to pay attention to 'the machine'.

i got to the point where i could taste something different chemically in the back of my throat the very day my hormones switched to PMS mode. creepy! (of course i tried to deny it so i could have just one more day without being a psycho bitch)

I've always bee in touch BUT I'm really bad with understanding the terminology. What exactly is ovulation? When does it happen? I'm so embarrassed.

Ovulation is when an egg is released from your ovaries. Usually happens about 10 days after your period. Your body produces a sticky discharge to "hold" onto the sperm in order to aid in pregnancy during that time.

I am very in touch with my body and my cycles.
I keep track of my cycles...
But I could feel when I was going to ovulate, I could tell when my period was comming within 2 days...

I knew I was pregnant a week before my period was missed, even though the test didn't come positive until about 3 days before my period was due.

I knew because...I didn't feel the same things I should have been feeling at that time. Every cramp, mucus discharge, every feeling...I knew them all and what they meant.

Now that I'm on birth control, I'm kind of worried becuase I'm not feeling these things anymore, and i amlost feel in the dark about my body. I didn't feel my ovulation thi smonth obviously. I should start in a few days...but I can't feel it comming...

I don't liek birth control just because it is leaving me in the dark about what's going on....well...because there's nothing going on....
    but I liked knowing...

i am not at all. i have had had countless accidents when it seemed like my period just snuck up on me and i had no idea when it was due. Usually i can't tell its going to happen until it actually does. It's always kinda been this way, don't really know why.

I am very in tune. I can tell when I ovulate by the mucus. I sometimes get O pains but not every month. I can predit when my period comes down to the day. I am really regular though.

I also agreed with Kaylinn...I knew I was preggo about 5 days or so before I missed my period. I could tell that my body was different.

I also notice how my body has changed over the years =(

I am in touch with my body, in a different way. I am never great on exactly when my period starts, but its within 3 days of my estimate usually. Its often early, I just bleed every 25 days or so, which sucks.

I am in tune with my body yet I have my "D'oh!" moments. Mainly thanks to being on Depo for years and years. I have been off Depo and any BC at the moment for almost a year... and still my body hasn't re-set itself to something that I consider for ME to be normal. I'm off BC because I wanted to give my body a much needed break since I was on Depo for many many years.

Plus I'm not having any penetrative sex anyway these days to keep pregnancy away.

I'm not good with ovulation and such but then I never get periods due to my IUD and my hormones are royally fucked up due to PCOS. I might not even ovulate.

I do notice that I'm getting wrinkles and more stretch marks though and just generally getting old.

I am pretty perceptive of my mood changes, when Im close to my period, when im PMSing, what my body will be craving for (usually salt when im pms-ing). Also, strangely enough, my period times itself to start whenever I plan a flight somewhere. Without fail, I'll be at the airport and either just before boarding or within an hr of flight, my period will start. It's done this for the last few years...I must have weird pre-powers which make me want to get away from home for work/vacation during it. So weird.
