    Default Makeup Trends for Fall

We've been talking about clothing, but what about makeup trends for fall? So far I've seen those dark, unplucked eyebrows like Brooke Shields had in the 80's starting to pop up. I can't say I'll be following that trend. I hope black nail polish will still be in, because I love wearing that.

if you really love wearing something, do it. don't worry so much about wether it's "in" or not.

plus, black nail polish will always be "in" if you wear it right.

i won't ever stop wearing dark polish when i feel like it, nor will i "not wear" red lipstick because it's "such and such a season".

rock the shit you love whenever you want. i'm not saying don't follow seasons or trends at all, but don't "deprive" yourself either.

Mmmm, I used to stick to all my "tried and trues" but then I realized that new seasons and new looks push me to be more creative and experiment, especially since I'm not a leader when it comes to setting makeup trends. Thankfully other people are innovating in that direction, and I can have fun with it. Anyway, what I've noticed is you can wear a *very* dark brown polish instead of black-black and it kind of freshens up the look. I love Zoya's polish "Nora." Sexy.

I'm into the red lips thing right now, as well as the unplucked brows- if not only because I like to change the shape every so often and this is a perfect excuse to load on the brown powder to cover regrowth untill I can achieve a totally different shape that the last one.

I like red lips so much because it looks great on pale skin, so I can sublime bronze much less frequently.

Cat eyes and nude lips are always pretty and fairly safe.

Makeup trends really don't seem to change that much from year to year lately. It's always been more natural/ lighter hand in summer, more sultry in fall, rosy in winter, and purply or green pastels in spring.

You can never go wrong with neutrals though.
