Angry heavy rock music old and new

I need some help with some songs, I always dance to rock, but I have a regular who loves stuff that I don't normally listen to. I need some ideas!

    Stuff like this:

    Black Sabbath
    Lamb of God
    Mudvayne
    Primus
    Clutch
    Dope

Hell, I'll even take song suggestions from the aforementioned bands. I simply don't know the music well enough to find stuff! This type of music goes over well in the divey club I work in, so screaming is not an issue Thanks!

    I had very good responses out west to an oft overlooked band from us dirtythirtysumthins heavy metal upbringin days...Iron Maiden ..... If I was at a club and a girl busted out this set;

    Powerslave - Iron Maiden
Seasons in the Abyss - Slayer

there would be instant wallet emptage ...and possible marriage proposal

Back to reality...give these a try:

The Right Stuff - Monster Magnet
    Unsung - Helmet
    Sweet Leaf - Black Sabbath
    Happy - Mudvayne
    Not Falling - Mudvayne
    Black - Sevendust
    Waffle - Sevendust
When Worlds Collide - Powerman 5000
    Bombshell - Powerman 5000

    ^^^^^

I second "Sweet Leaf" by Sabbath. If I ever heard that on a stage set...that dancer would be half way to cleaning out my wallet. Another Sabbath song to check out would be "N.I.B."

Another one that may work is "Cemetary Gates" by Pantera. Not too heavy, but has heavy elements. I knew one dancer that use to play this song. I really was not much into her (just my taste), but I always gave her a $20 stage tip for the song.

I am probably somewhat like your regular...I like hard rock and old school metal.

Thanks guys! I've been playing Pantera's Cemetary Gates and Walk, also NIB by Black Sabbath. I've also done some static x, and Powerman 5000, as well as Ozzy's new one Love it!

Life Of Agony's "Soul Searching Sun" has a bunch of heavy but sweet-sounding tunes, good for a SC

A song by Orange 9MM called "Commence Yourself"(?) (The singer shouts all the lyrics- "...GET DOWN!" is the chorus) I recommend it for a fast stage show

Prong-"Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" is still the jammity-jam. I love Sabbath, too, but check out the "Nativity In Black" cd's, all covers. Ozzy re-did "NIB" with Primus. White Zombie did "Children Of The Grave". Godsmack do a nice job of "Sweet Leaf". SOAD did "Snowblind". Pantera did "Electric Funeral". There's some stinkers on there, too, so be warned.

I could list these all day.

Speaking of covers, Ministry apparently do "Roadhouse Blues" on their upcoming (and supposedly final) CD. I hope it doesn't suck.

SWEET LEAF! Yes! This was my favorite song to dance to at the stage-only club I worked at; it always gets a reaction. One time I played it this group of rocker boys started building a money castle on my rack.

Another good song is Melvins covering Going Blind.

Try Ministry, Melvins, 400 Blows, Tool, and Big Business.

^^ Can you suggest some ministry songs? I never have any idea what to play, and since I work off a jukebox, I have to play it to hear it, and that can occasionally be disastrous lol.

Ministry: Stigmata, So What (Really long, though), Burning Inside (fast!), NWO, Breathe, Scarecrow (slower),Thieves (fast!), Hero, Jesus Built My Hotrod (fast!), Just One Fix, etc etc. They have a best-of cd out called "Greatest Fits" if you wanna give that a listen. They also have earlier stuff that was much more electro.

Yeah, So What is about eight minutes long. ^ A lot of the songs he mentioned are on the album The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste.
