Default Your fave/most useful magazines for beauty & fashion?

I've never really been into mags a bunch, but just kinda went on a spree the other day. Got In Style and Glamour. Couldn't find Vouge where I was, but want one..
What ones do you find you get the most out of? I like Oprah's also, I seem to identify with some of the articles.

    Cosmopolitan is my favorite mag!

(PS dont put your real name when you subscribe to magazines) that way if they try and automatically renew your subscription or something and you dont pay they can't send it to claims because that person wont actually exist

Allure has some articles. I like Oxygen, Fit, Women's Health and Men's Health for the articles. I personally think Cosmo is garbage.

I like womens fitness RX for the best health and workout info, lucky for fashion, and a pick between Allure, Marie Clair, Glamor, Vogue, Cosmo and Bazar for beauty, with the best cover stories while I'm in line at the grocery storebeing th edeciding factor in those.

I think Cosmo is kind of ridiculous. They recycle the same lame sex tips over and over again and the whole mag seems basically dedicated to how to please a man (in life, bed, etc.) I liked it when I was 16-17 but once I wasn't really interesting in impressing a guy at the moment I realized it was completely irrelevant to me.

    Mmmm, stealing is sexy.

And I like Harper's Bazaar, but I don't use it for shopping as much as ideas of what to get that'll look classy but be cheaper. So I can make my wardwrobe look HOT without the pricetag by getting similar items for cheaper. (And cheaper for harper's being like $500 for jeans, hahaha)

    [QUOTE]

i didn't mean do it to steal it, but i've had problems with magazines continuing my subscription when i wanted it cancelled after the one year and then they still charge me for another year! if you refuse to pay then you get a letter saying they are sending it to claims. i read that if you have your real name and address onthere it actually can affect your credit score.

cosmo might have lame sex tips but i still think their beauty/fashion sections are good! I actually stopped getting any magazines because of the impact on the environment

^^You can always just send in a money order with your subscription so they don't have your cc info.

No, that's not the issue. I've had the same problem, paid with cash(m.o.) initially, they automatically renewed me, even though I did not resubscribe.

Kept sending the freaking (Jane) magazine, and then the nasty letters started coming. They kept sending the stinking magazine, and tried to send me to collections, which I was fortunately able to clear up.

If they have your real name, and your address (obviously) they can try to pull this crap.

Anyway, I like Allure & Elle

^^Really? I've never had that problem! I've bought a few subscriptions off ebay too. Hint, they are super cheap on there!

Another ebay fan here. I get about 10 magz a month from subscriptions I ordered online. My favorites are In Style, Lucky, Marie Claire, Vogue.
