Default Odorless Garlic Capsules: Good For Fighting a Cold?

I routinely take odorless garlic capsules. I wanted to know if I increase my dosage, will they help to knock out this killer cold I have coming? I''m in the first day of full blown cold symptoms.

Currently I take 3x500mg capsules of OG.

You'd have to eat so so much of fresh. I eat fresh also, it's great. But, I know if I don't take my garlic capsules on a regular basis, I will get sick. Not to mention it helps my allergies. I use Kyolic brand.

I don't think they make me sick. I''ve been taking them everyday for about 18 months now. I take the Arizona Natural's Allrich brand.

Garlic isn't going to do much for a cold. What DOES work is Hall's Defense lozenges- Vitamin C , ZINC and echinacea all together. It's BEST to start sucking on them as soon as you feel a cold coming on. The zinc helps strengthen your mucous membranes against the rhino- virus.

Well, I picked up some Emergen-C "ImmuneDefense". Hopefully that will work. Iwent into work today and I was so stuffed up that I sounded horrible and right now I can barely keep my eyes open. Blah. Cross your finger y'all.

Yuck, I can't stand nasal sprays. They always go down the back of my throat.

    Thanks for the suggestion though

Naughty is correct. Zinc nasal spray is very good especially if you use it early on in the "cold cycle".
