Default getting rid of blue hair?

random...some weeks ago, my hair mysteriously turned a pretty blue/turquoise hue.

now i HADNT been in a swimming pool or spa, i HADNT changed my shampoo or conditioner, and i HADNT used a pruple shampoo. my towles are pink, and my bedding was pink. so it wasnt that.

ive been to the hairdressers and they tried bleaching it out. nada.
    they used a lifter. nada
they tried dyeing over it darker. nada.

the blue hues are still in my ends where my hair was its lightest and most porus.

ive spent the last few days putting pink conditioner on it trying to move it, the only other thing i can think of is to bleach it for longer then the 5 minutes the hairdressers tried it for?

or cut it out. not really an option.

any suggestions? i have some big photoshoots coming up in a few weeks, and i need it GONE! at the moment my hair looks ok, its not terribly blue, but tbh, it looks way too shit and blueish to be on a magazine cover or anything.

    stress!

If your primary concern is a magazine shoot, wouldn't they just fix it with Photoshop anyway?

Did you just wake up and go, "Hey, my hair is blue!"? Or did you notice it halfway through a day? o.O My mind... it boggles.

Maybe it's the new stuff they're putting in the water because of the restrictions and water shortage?

Try getting a shower water purifier.

    And again... what the fuck?!

Try Metalex..It's good for removing colors..I remember someone mentioning Dawn in another color removal thread.

Thats just like an episode of Different Strokes except Kimberlys hair turns green. In the episode it was caused by acid rain.

    But yeah - random!

It's your pipes then, probably. Which doesn't help NOW.

But don't they make blonde anti-copper treatments?

You can put a little powder bleach into shampoo to get color like that off of your hair. It works for Manic Panic, so I'm betting it will work for this.

When you say powered bleach do you mean, Clorox 2 ? How much of it do you need to use ?

cut if off and get extentions. first though, figure out if it is the pipes/water. invite some girl you don't like over, and accidently spill something over her, and offer up your shower!

    yo.
