    Default ripples!

    i have a question:
recently i got my boobs done (6 months ago) and i went from a 32A to a 32D, which is awesome! And latley i've some "ripples" around the edges, most noteably right in the middle in my cleavage! i know it is just the bag, and it probably happened because my skin is so thin. When i look at them it is all i can see.. raisin boob!
i guess my question is...is there any way to make it go away? Do any of you guys have this too? does "massaging" help? Did i get a bad ba? how do others hide it? Is it really as obvious as i think it is? other people say they can't see it, but i think they are just being nice, God luv em. Should i think about having them redone? is this common?

(You can't see them in the picture below..)

I think having them under the muscle helps with this, but other than that... I don't really know any solutions. Sorry....

No, massage wont help. What kind of implants do you have & where are they placed? I'm assuming saline, if so you can have them filled up more(but doing that may make them more firm). Or you can switch to silicone.

your plastic surgeon can easily reattach filler tubes and add enough extra cc's of saline solution to force the wrinkles out of the implant bags. Of course, you might wind up being a double D afterwards.

Are there filler tubes in all implants? My guess is no but I'm asking to make sure. I got mentor smooth rounds. I have small unnoticeable ripples too but I feel them and its gross to me.

Mine are rippling and it seems like it gets worse every day. But I have had mine for ten years, so it is probably time to have them redone. I don't really have money for surgery right now, so I guess it will have to wait. Hopefully it won't get too bad while I'm still dancing.

if they're unders and the rippling isn't too severe, a higher body fat percentage may help disguise them.

post a pic of it, we'll tell you if we can see it or not.

they are under the muscle saline's. here's a bird's eye view of my cleavage..it looks like a butt. the pinkish part on the left is it. what is this about filler tubes? do you have to get a special type of implant for that, or is it possible for most implants?

I think your best bet is to get back in touch with your PS and a couple others to ask opinions on fixing it. Filling it up more will probably help if that's possible (which you can find out from the original PS). If you want to try a new surgeon, at least you will know exactly what type of implant (if it's fillable) you have and have a more informative discussion presurgery.

    my thoughts exactly...

Unders definitely help, but if there isn't much natural tissue there, you can only do so much.

You obviously need to talk to a PS because nobody here knows as much about repairs. Have you considered replacing with cohesive gels?

I was in the same boat. I had very little fat/breast tissue when I went from a 34A to a 34DD and I have had some massive rippling. The doctor told me either I could put on weight or get them redone, so I got them redone three days ago. LOL! Like I can "put on weight" in this business! Yeah, whatever! LOL!

^Care to share the details on your redo? Like how they went in and did it, did you go to the same doctor, and average price. I'm interested in this extra filling procedure. You can PM me if you like.

I had my original implants for 10 years - I started out as a 34A and got smooth round saline 420 ccs overfilled to 460ccs. They were great for a while, then as time passed, they began to ripple, plus I lost some weight which took away some of my breast tissue, making the ripples look worse. I loved my original doctor - wouldn't go to anyone else - and believe me, the only reason I even messed with having them redone was because of the rippling (plus a bit of big boobie greed!)Three days ago, I went back to the same doctor (I love him and will share info via PM for anyone who wants to know who he is - he does a lot of country stars' boobies, etc!) and I got the old implants taken out and new ones put in. The new ones are 560 ccs (smooth round high profiles) overfilled to 660 ccs and I am now looking at a 34 F or G (YAY!) and I love how they look, even though they are still firm and high. My doctor went in through my original incisions under my breasts, and the incisions are falling perfectly in the crease. The cost was only $3700!

I am so thrilled so far with the results, even though I am still in some pain. I will say that the second time around is nothing near as painful as the first!

Yes, an overfill does make them firmer. It's a trade-off.

The other option is silicone, which is very soft and realistic feeling plus much less likely to ripple. But that's a trade-off too, because there could be more potential health risks.

But does this "firmness" make them feel very unnatural?

In my opinion, yes totally. Some but not all, will also sit higher and firmer on the chest giving them a much more fake appearance as well. The over fill gives more upper-pole fullness, so they will not have the slope of a natural breast. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it might not be the look some girls are going for.

wow!!! i'm down for an F! they told me that a 34A could never go that big. i see now they were lying! Fiends! what did you do to disguise the ripples? i noticed the other night that some makeup and powder on the ripples disguises them a little, and there's no hiding thm when i bend over, they are so deep and obvious! It's so embarrassing. granny boob. Just the one, too. IRONY
I can't afford to get them worked on for a while, does anyone know any tricks to hide it till then?

every saline implant has a filler valve in the center ... almost like the air filler valve on a beach ball. During the original surgery the doctor attaches a plastic tube to this filler valve and pumps the saline solution into the implant - and then detached the tube, snaps the filler valve shut, and closes your incision. It IS possible to go in for another surgery ... to make a tiny incision where the original incision was, to reopen the filler valve's snap cover, to attach the same plastic tube, to pump in more saline solution, then snap the filler valve closed again and stitch up the incision.

Yes you can force all of the ripples out of saline implant bags by pumping in enough saline to stretch the bag thus removing all bag wrinkles. Yes the extra saline makes the bag's shape become rounder, makes the implant's feel become firmer, and makes the look of the implanted breasts more 'fake'.

Silicone gel implants are much less prone to rippling because the higher viscosity of the silicone makes it nearly impossible for the bags to develop 'sharp' wrinkles which can show through thin skin as 'ripples'.

My best friend gets those when she loses too much weight. They wrinkle in the exact same place you described.

I went from a B (like a LARGE B, small sloppy C lol) to a Double D now. I didnt get silicone for that very reason. I am known to fluctuate my weight. Reason for you having ripples might be gain loss soon after the BA. Did you lose some weight?

I got Cohesive gels...they wont give you ripples either.

I doubt that massage works though.
